A Flary Christmas

Christmas Eve

Morning

Christmas Eve, the day before Christmas day.
In the Sun Village, everyone was in the Christmas spirit. Everyone except Flare. She wasn't acting like a grinch or anything. She was just depressed because she didn't have a human to spend it with. She's the ONLY human in her village. The village was a village of Giants.
She sat down and began to think about Blondie.

" Will they return to our village?" Flare asked herself.
While Flare was in despair, a little ginger lad with a green jacket stood next to her.

" What's wrong, lady?" asked the little lad.
" I feel alone." Flare responded.

" Why? There's lot Giants that ALWAYS mention you in their conversations." said the little lad.

" I know but I wish I could spend Christmas with a human, like me." Flare said to the little lad.

The kid wrapped his arms around Flare's body and said " I'll spend Christmas with you, lady."

Tears filled Flare's face as she wrapped her arms around the lad's body, pulling him closer to her.
" Thank you." sobbed Flare. " Thank you."

Afternoon

After their encounter, they talked and they got to know each other. The lad's name was Leonard Leone.

" Ms. Corona, how did your hair get so long?" Leonard asked Flare.

" One word : time." Flare answered with a grin.

The kid rolled his eyes as they are taking a stroll through Sun Village.

" So Leonard, what do you want for Christmas?" Flare asked Leonard.

" I just want someone to spend Christmas with." Leonard answered.

At that moment, Flare had a plan.

" Let's spend Christmas together, like you said earlier." said Flare.

" Ok." accepted Leonard.

Night

It's night and everyone was preparing for bed.

Flare had excitement in her head.

She tucked Leonard in his bed so she could get ahead on her gift for Leonard. She wrote a note and attached it to a bird. She released it and went to sleep.

Christmas Day

Christmas! Christmas is here! Everyone awoke with a cheer. Flare couldn't wait for Leonard to see his present. There was knocks at the door. When Flare opened the door, Leonard grinned ear to ear. The people at the door was Leonard's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leone. The parents was happy to see him as well.
Christmas for Leonard was swell. Everyone is enjoying their Christmas but Flare still felt gloomy. She wish her happiness could bloomy.

Then Flare realized the true meaning of Christmas.
Christmas wasn't about your happiness. It's about making others happy with your kind gestures.
