Trouble

Chapter 1

My name is Adrianna Ruiz. I'm 17 and a Senior in high school. I'm part of the cheerleading squad but I'm not the leader. I have an A average. I live with my mom, Betty Ruiz. She left my abusive dad when she knew she was pregnant with me. I wouldn't say I'm a good girl because I have drank and smoked before but I'm not a bad girl either. I would say I'm in between. It is halfway into the school year and winter formal is coming up. That is when everything changed.

"Adrianna!! Wake-up" I heard for under my blanket. I pulled down the blanket to see my best friend Macy standing at the foot of my bed. I pulled the blanket back over my head as if I didn't see her.

" Wake-up" Macy yanked off the blanket.

"Winter break is over, back to school" she yelled once again. I lazily got up and gave her a hug.

"Help me get dressed" I told her still half asleep. I got inside the shower and when I walked out Macy had laid out an outfit. It was a lite pink razor back with black lace for the straps, a leather brown jacket, black 3 inch shorts, and black Supras.

"Pretty" I said in a thankful way. After I got dressed and put my hair in a messy bun we both went outside to wait for Macy's boyfriend, Rick.

" So how are you and Rick" I ask Macy

"OMG we did it"

"WHAT!" I nearly yelled loud enough so the man walking by almost heard.

" We went on a date to the movies and then after for a walk in the park and yeah.."

"So your first time was in the park" I said laughing

"Shut up, It was nice"

"Was he good at it"

"Yes, very good" She replied giggling.

Rick pulled up in his red car and we got in, Macy in the passenger seat and me in the back.

"You look nice Babe" Rick said "So do you Adrianna" he carried on giving me a wink that Macy didn't notice. I never really liked Rick. He wasn't necessary very faithful to Macy but I don't bother to get involved because the last time I did Macy was mad at me for about a month.

We arrived at school. I recognized everyone. We all climbed out of the car and walked toward the entrance. Suddenly a pair of hands wrapped around my waist and I felt lips press against my neck. I turing to see Josh. He was my boyfriend for about three years now. He had lite blue eyes and charcoal black hair. He was on the football team as WR.

"Hey love" He whispered in my ear

"Hey babe" I answered back

"I missed you"

"Same here, you said you were busy all winter break"

With a bit of hesitation he answered back,

"Sorry I was with um my parents in washington"

"Oh Okay" I answered, my eyes getting caught on a guy with lite brown eyes and and dark brown hair. I recognized him, David Clark, the schools bad boy, every girls dream boy but not mine. He seemed to have been staring at me and Josh. I ignored it and went inside. The bell rang and I went to my first period, Math with Mr. Crawford. I absolutely hated that class but I was still good at it. After about three 40 minute class periods I went to lunch.

"Hey guys, I'm going to go to the locker room to get my uniform"

"Ok" everyone hummed

I walked out of the Student union and to the gym. I opened the gym's main door and walked across the basketball court when I heard a girl.

"Ahh there you go ahh"

I followed the voice to the bathroom.

"Davi- AHH"

I opened the door to see a horrific sight. David Clark and my cheer captain having sex. I shut the door all most instant. They noticed me. After that they stopped. I couldn't imagine it. My cheer captain, Penelope, having sex with David Clark. She had a boyfriend. The varsity football QB.

I ran back to the Student union. "Were's your uniform" Samantha asked, one of my friends.

"I couldn't find it" I say with the first thing that pops in my head.

After a while David Clark walks into the Union with mess hair.

'Ugh how can he be so careless of what he does with girls'

Later Penelope walks in. How stupid. They just made it very obvious. I shake me head. I turn to David who is looking at me. He smiles. I can't help but smile back. Josh notices us and gets up and leaves the table. I look at him and follow him outside.

"Josh wait" I yelled at him "Wait" K say again

"What do you want Adrianna"

"What's wrong"

"What's wrong?" He fakes a smile "You and David, that's what's wrong. What all of a sudden you have a thing for bad boys"

"Look I'm sorry I didn't mea-"

"You don't mean anything" Josh says walking away. The bell rings. I turn to head back inside but at the door is David Clark.

"That for boyfriend Angel Eyes"

He says

I ignore him and try to walk pass him but he grabs my wrist.

"Ouch" I scream falling to the ground

"What Angel eyes I didn't hold you that tight.

"What do you want"

"Is that your boyfriend"

"Yes well i dont know"

"Aww had a fight"

"Leave me alone" I say getting to my feet

"Look Angel Eyes, I can make it better" he pulls me close grabbing my ass kissing my neck. I pull away slapping him and then running inside.
