~Sharing-toungues - when cats groom each other.

~Gathering - a meeting at a certain place (that is unclaimed by any of the Clans) where all the Clans go at full-moon. Leaders of the Clans make announcements and discuss current issues. *If a leader cannot attend a Gathering for whatever reason, then the deputy speaks for the leader.*

~Mouse-brain/flea-brain - a curse or insult meaning "idiot" or "stupid".

~Foxdung - a rude curse or insult usually expressing frustration.

~Crowfood - gross food left over by crows or other predatory animals; sometimes used as an insult in a way.

~Fresh-kill - freshly killed prey that is put in the fresh-kill pile and eaten.

~Twolegs - humans. *Other names: upwalkers, no-furs.*

~Kittypet - housecat.

~Rogue - a cat that has either left or been kicked out of a Clan; often hostile.

~Loner - a stray cat that doesn't belong to a Clan.

~Moonhigh - midnight.

~Sunhigh - noon.

~Leaf-fall - autumn/fall.
