EMMA'S POINT OF VIEW(3rd person)
Emma was 17. Old enough to drive, but without a license. "Two more months, two more months." She mumbled under her breath. Emma was riding in her bestfriend, Sierra's aunts car to Alderbury Parke, a huge waterpark 25 minutes away in San Diego, California. "Em," yelled Sierra,"get your lousy butt over here!" Smiling to her self Emma (a.k.a "Em") shouted back "I'm coming, jeez!" She jumped down the stairs three at a time and ran out the door.
EMMA'S POINT OF VIEW(1st person)
Why was I not at school on this wonderful Tuesday morning? Two words, Summer Vacation. We got out of school last week and my life has been pure paradise since then. Let me introduce myself, give you the basics. My name is Emma Sylvia Grace. Sylvia is my mom's name. She's off on some business trip to Australia, where I'm moving next month. As for right now, I'm staying with Sierra until she arrives back home. Am I devestated? Of course not. Well, maybe a little. But it's a change. A new life. I am very excited. I have sea greenish blueish eyes, and straight blonde hair. Social status? Very popular. That's all you need to know. Don't. need you stalking me or anything. So about Alderbury Parke, well it's not childish, AT ALL. A lot of people enjoy going and they have the most amazing slides. It's outdoors, and Sierra and I go every summer. We have been friends since second grade when I dumped pudding in her hair during lunch to show off. My life is pretty good, it's normal, and exciting, it's just the way I like it.
SIERRA'S POINT OF VIEW(3rd person)
The two friends buckle their seatbelts an get ready for a wonderful day. Everything will be perfect. Hopefully. "Are we there NOW?" Sierra asks her aunt for the 15th time in the last ten minutes. Opal(her aunt) answers, obviously annoyed "I told you 15 minutes. Don't ask again or I pull over." Sierra slouches down in her seat mumbling words that no one can hear, but Emma's pretty sure she knows what she's saying.

We pull into the Alderbury Parke parking lot, and Sierra squeals loudly, "Think of all the lifeguards.....Holy 6 pack!" She's so dillusional. We grab our bags from the trunk and wave goodbye to Sierra's Aunt Opal. Inside the gate we pay the 9 dollar fee. (4.50 a person) we find two chairs and set everything down. Sierra doesn't have her bathing suit on yet so she heads to the locker rooms to change. Meanwhile, I pull off my red shirt and ripped denim shorts, revealing my blue and white polk-a-dotted bikini. They guy behind me whistles. I turn around and wink, laughing at a cute guy I've never seen. I open my mouth to say something flirtatious, but Sierra exits this dressing room and calls for me. "Em, hurry up, you're so slow!" "I've been ready, you're the holdup here." I retort, roll my eyes, and run over to her, briefly smiling to my new companion, who I haven't managed to catch a name from.
