Chapter One: The Shrimp

Gajeel's POV

     I walked up to the doors of the guild hall right in the middle of fiore. "Fairy tail," I read out loud "Sounds wimpy what do you think Lily." My black exceed flew over to me and looked at the guild hall, " Does it really matter what I think you need to be in an organization or the magic counsel will be on your butt, but if you have to know I that it is pretty big considering it is a guild full of assassins." I thought About what he said i guess this would be good and hey it cant hurt right.

     I walked into the guild hall that is supposedly number one in fiore this.... My thoughts were interrupted by a chair flying in my face. I looked around to see a pink haired boy with fire on his hands and a black haired boy with no shirt on in some type of pose. Then I saw a red head walk over to them they started to fight again but right when they saw her they coward in  fear. "Well I guess this will have to get used to," I heard lily say. I nodded and started to walk towards the masters office.

     On the way I saw people laughing and drinking, this not what my last guild was like. I shook the thought of my last guild out of my mind and knocked on the door to the masters office. A short white haired man, well what hair was let was white, even though he seemed small I sensed a whole lot of magic energy from him, I think Lily noticed because he just stood there steering at the old man.

"Well are you going to come in or stand there," the old man said with a warm smile on his face.I walked in Lily silently following me he still looked pretty out of the world.

"So how can I help you today young man."

"Well I'm Gajeel Redfox, A iron dragon slayer, and this is my exceed Pantherlily and we were wondering if we could join your guild," I tried to see the deal with a smile but I could feel that I just looked constipated. The old man smiled at me "Well you have come to a great guild, I'm Makorof the guild master,  I will get one of my children to show you around, But for now follow me."

'Children... Why does he call the guild members children.'I followed the old man to the bar where I was greeted by a tall white haired woman. "Mira this is Gajeel and Pantherlily," he gestured to us as he said our names. "They are our new members of Fairy Tail but I need you to give them the emblem, Okay" The white haired woman, I think her name is Mira, nodded her head then I watched as Mokarof walked away. I turned back to Mira, "Hey my name is Mirajane Strauss but you can call me Mira," she stoke out her hand with a smile waiting for me to take it. I shook her hand and noticed that she also had alot of magic energy coming for her just like the old man

     She was also still smiling, why does everyone smile in this place. This is supposed to be a guild right it is suppose to be cut throat competition and rivalries every where not smiles and hugs and singing, or at least that how my guild was. She let go of my hand and went to the back which I think is a kitchen. When she came back she had a few of small boxes, "So what color do you want and where do you want it." I looked at lily he was looking at the options intensely, "Could I get a white one in the center of my back," Mira smiled and grabbed one of the stamps. She pressed it on to Lily's back then backed away and smiled then she turned her attention to me.

      "So how about you I'm guessing that you want it to be black because well... the rest of your clothes are, but where is the question." She put he hand up to her chin like she was thinking "Well I guess my bicep would be okay but the left one." She nodded then and put a black stamp on my left bicep, it looked kind of weird like a running creature.... My thoughts were interrupted by someone clearing there throat, I turned my attention to it and saw the old man standing on a bar stool next to me. He cleared his throat again, a little louder this time, and everyone went quiet and focused on him.

    "I have an announcement to make, we will be having two new members join us today," everyone broke out into applause and cheer. "Yes so I want you to treat our new members Gajeel Redfox and Pantherlily with respect and like family, also Levy I have chosen you to show them around if it is not a problem." He finished his speech with a smile and just of the bar stool, I heard a chair scrape against the wood from a dark corner then a small bluenette started to emerge from the darkness. When she was completely out of the darkness the whole entire guild went into silent some even coward in fear, why were they so scared she is like two feet tall.

     She walked in front of me and Lily I smiled at her and she scoffed, She then circled me and lily she smelt me "Iron dragon slayer," she smelt Lily "And exceed." She sniffed him again, "But he is special,' she sniffed him again, "He has a fighting form." She then proceeded in looking at us, it was like she was checking us out, but I had enough of it "So are you going to check me out or show us around because if you really want to stare, pictures last longer," I said annoyed. Everyone started murmuring and staring at me like I was some creep or something I over heard someone say 'Did he really just say that and what is wrong with him. "Nothing is wrong with me there is something wrong with you guys you are all cowarding in fear because of shrimp over he..."

     I could not finish my sentence because the shrimp spoke again. "What did you just call me," she asked now in front of me. With me being the way I am I toke that as a challenge "I called you a shr...." I could not finish the sentence because I had the air knocked out of me and my head had hit the floor.. hard.
