Oh, Annabelle

"Anna! There are some people that want to meet you!" Mrs. Ward exclaimed. I flinched, anxious about what they're like.

You see, adoptions have always made me jumpy, since I was abducted by that menace. Eight years of my life had gone into hating him. A few days after my ninth birthday, I was abducted. And two years ago, I came here, when I was only fifteen. It sucked more than anything in the world.

"Anna!  Hurry up!" She exclaimed again. Sighing, I looked in the mirror. I was wearing a jumper with a sail boat on the front, and white high-waisted shorts. I had my hair in a fish-tail plait and had started picking away at my nail polish. Deciding that I didn't feel like doing my make-up, I ran downstairs, in socks.

"Ms. Styles, Mr. Styles, this is Anna," she said, introducing me.

My eyes opened wider as Ms. Styles collapsed in sobs. "Oh, Annabelle," she sobbed, as Mr. Styles helped her up. "Annabelle, you're alive," he cried, running over to me. I backed away slightly, scared of the unknown man.

"Who are you?"

That hit him hard. His face scrunched up in pain and confusion.

"Annabelle, it's your father. It's me," he said, eyes wet.

My father? This man is my father?

I guess a part of me was waiting for since I got to this place, but it just seems so surreal. I've only been here two years, but I lost all hope in ever finding them. I guess another part of me didn't care either. I wanted a new, blank slate. I had taught myself so much already. And, at seventeen, I was learning so much. I learned everything about algebra and calculus. I'm still a little confused on trigonometry but it's okay.

Stop thinking, Anna!

"My name's Anna," I said quietly. "Okay. That's fine, Anna," Ms. Styles said. "Oh God, I missed you so much, Boo."

Boo. That brought back so much. The divorce, my mum crying a lot. And, one night, when I asked her why she was so upset, she said it was because "I'm lonely, Boo." I responded with, "But, Mama, I'm still here with you."

"Mum?" I whispered, looking up. My eyes were blurred with tears, but I saw her nod. I let out a choked sob and ran towards her. We embraced tightly for what seemed like seconds, but was probably a half hour. I turned to face my father. I was hesitant, since I could never feel okay around men since... Everything. Regardless, I hugged him tightly, still sobbing. "Oh, Daddy," I cried, as he spun me around. "It's me Princess. And I'm never letting anyone hurt you again," he said.

When I pulled away, I looked around. "Where's Gemma? And Harry?" I asked, looking around anxiously. "Gemma... Gemma's with her husband, at home. And Harry's touring, with his band. They didn't know we'd actually find you, because we've looked everywhere, and they thought it'd be another dissapointment. But it's not. You're here," Mum explained, getting emotional on the last line.

My mother and father exchanged a glance. "And we've decided that you're coming home."

What?

Harry's POV-

"Mum's going to another place to look for Annabelle today," I said, looking to Liam. He was the only one who knew about my baby sister, who was abducted in 2004. "This time, the investigator told them to try this orphanage, instead of those adoption agencies. But I've lost all hope in seeing her again." I opened my wallet, staring at the picture of me and my two sisters. It was old, dirty, and dog-eared at the corners. But I refuse to get rid of it. It's the one picture of Annabelle I can take around with me, without anyone asking questions.

We were so happy then. I was two, playing in the sand at the beach. Gemma was three, and she was poking our father while Mum held a new-born Annabelle. Our aunt took the picture for us. No one besides Liam has seen it, and he'll be the only person to see it.

"Hey, Liam, Harry," Zayn said, walking into wardrobe. I shoved my wallet into my pocket quickly, before he saw something, and wiped my eyes, completely messing up the make-up.

"Lou is going to kill you," Louis sing-songed when he saw me. "I know," I muttered, as Liam eyed me, in a look that said, 'You okay?' I nodded at him, and stood up, before announcing my depareture as Niall walked in.

"Lou," I said quietly, walking into the make-up and hair room. "I'm so sorry." She looked up at me, away from where she was packing up her stuff. "What's wrong?" She asked, walking towards me. "Nothing, I just messed up my make-up," I lied, as she pulled me into a hug. "You're a rubbish liar, Harry," she said. "I know. I just miss home," I said, partially lying.

"Alright," she said, pulling me into a chair. She rushed to fix what I messed up, since our concert started soon. I ran out, to where the boys were finishing wardrobe, which I had already been finished with.

"Five minutes, boys," Paul said, walking into the room as well. "Well, I guess we should start to go, then," Niall shrugged. We stood up, and all headed over, as Liam placed a hand on my back. "They'll find her," he whispered. I nodded, biting my lip.

"Woah, what's going on there?" Louis questioned, quirking an eyebrow and looking towards us as he walked backwards. "God, stop being so childish," I groaned, rolling my eyes. "Okay, Mr. Serious," he joked, smirking. "Just stop, okay!" I lashed out. His eyes widened, and I looked down, embarrassed that I had done that.

"Sorry," I mumbled, not bothering to look up as we got side stage.

I just want to get this done with.

--

It was only a quarter of the concert? God, it felt like it's been four hours.

We had just finished Summer Love, when Tom ran up on stage. We all gathered in a group, as fans got quiet.

"Harry, your mum's on the phone. She said it's an emergency. They found her?" He said.

I let the microphone clatter out of my hand and fall to the floor.

"What?" I whispered, tears brimming my eyes.

"They found her," I said, turning to Liam. "They found her!" I laughed. He began laughing as well as he hugged me tightly. "Go, talk to her!" He said. I nodded excitedly before running off stage, leaving the fans and three boys very confused.

They found her.

They found her.
