JASON
"Dad do I have to go" I whined.
"Yes, your sister needs all the support after what has happend" He replied.
"Fine but don't get mad at me if I'm on my phone" I groaned.
My dad and I made our way to the car and sat inside waiting for my sister Amanda.
"Thanks for coming Jason" Amanda said after she got in the back seat of the car.
"Yeah whatever" I muttered.
Being Jason Anderson isn't easy at all. I'm a complete opposite from my family. I'm into Rock music while my sister is into classical crap and ballet shit.
In school Im pretty well known considering the fact that I sleep with almost every girl in senior year.
My clothes consists on black skinny jeans, black converse, white or black T-shirt. I sometimes get called an emo freak but i really don't give a shit.
Ive never had a real girlfriend before. I onced tried but the girl became too clingy and super annoying. My father has many times tried to hook me up with a girl but I always declined. At one point he thought I was gay because i said no to all his offers but after a 1 hour long conversation about me not being gay, he understood. I am now 18 years old, girlfriendless, and happy.
"Alright, we're here!" my father cheered.
Amanda quickly ran off to the building while yelling "I'll see you after the performance!"
Once inside the building we took seats at the 5th row. The lights dimmed as I was turning the brightness down from my phone and plugged in my earphones.
About an hour later i heard some faint claps and people standing up. I took off my earphones and heard the claps at full volume. I was guessing the performance finished... thank god.
My dad and I walked to backstage to congratulate Amanda. I leaned against a wall waiting for her while my dad stayed a few feet away from me with a bouquet of flowers.
When I saw Amanda walking into backstage with a dance partner I went and stood next to my dad.
"Dad!" Screamed Amanda while approaching us.
"Amanda! You did wonderful love. Congratulations" Said my dad while hugging her very tightly.
"Thank you. Jason! How did you like the performance?" My sister of 16 asked while hugging me.
"It was alright" I lied.
Amanda just stood there smiling for a solid minute when she finally realized she brought someone along.
"Oh, dad, Jason, this is my friend Ocean" Smiled Amanda while looking at her.
"Nice to meet you Ocean, you have a very unique name" Said my father.
"Thank you. It's lovely to meet you sir." Smiled Ocean. She has a nice smile. Probably had braces once.
"Dad, I brought Ocean here because we wanted to tell you that we have a duet!" Screeched Amanda. "It's a difficult one so she'll be coming over our house to practice and I'll be going to hers."
"That's great, you're welcome anytime Ocean" my father smiled to the girl.
"Alright, im pretty tired and Jason looks like he's gonna die from boredom so we should get going" Yawned Amanda.
"Okay, let's go. Goodnight Ocean"
"Goodnight! Bye Amanda, text me!" Ocean shouted because we were a few feet away from her.Amanda just gave her a thumbs up as we continued walking.
"So, Jason, what did you think of Ocean"
"I don't know" I said.
"Well I think she's amazing. I mean her hair is so beautiful, her eyes, and the way she dances."
"Sounds like you have a crush on her" I said.
"Jason don't be stupid you already know I'm not gay and I have a boyfriend." Said Amanda. I can sense her rolling her eyes.
Isaac is Amanda's boyfriend. He's a grade below me. Him and my sister have been together for a year now all because of me. I brought Isaac home one day because he wanted to tell me something important. Apparently it was to see my sister.
"Dad can Ocean come tomorrow?" Amanda asked.
"Yeah sure"
"Jason, tomorrow I don't want you coming near Ocean and I while we're practicing." Amanda glared at me.
"Wasn't planning to" I muttered.
Once we got to the house, I quickly made myself some tostinos pizza amd headed to my room.
I got kinda bored just sitting there eating so i put on some Nirvana.
That's another reason why I don't have a girlfriend. They don't get me or the type of music I listen to. Rock music is a big part of my life, it's an everyday thing. Girls and people in general find it weird and scary. I'm not going to change the way I am just for those pathetic people.
It is currently 2:00 a.m. and I'm getting tired. In order for me to sleep I have to listen to blink-182, it soothed me.
With an ugly yawn I fall asleep.
