"I've been cheating on you with Oh Se Kyeong."

All I could do upon hearing those words was stare at my boyfriend, or rather ex boyfriend, with tears in my eyes and my mouth wide open in shock. "Yes, of course, Oh Se Kyeong," I muttered, voice soft and trailing off at the end. Of course I was angry about the situation, but what made me the most frustrated with this was my own inability to recognize that my boyfriend had not been faithful. How could I have missed the playful hugs between them that lasted a fraction too long to be considered friendly? How could I have missed their wanting to sit next to each other when the three of us went out to dinner together? How could I have missed the giggles that he elicited from her so very easily? How could I have missed the both of them becoming so distant from me? "Please be happy with her, Kim Jong Dae," I choked out, bowing to the man in front of me.

I turned on my heel before he could respond and left the Exo dorm. The farther I walked, the more K felt my bottom lip tremble. The more I felt my fingers shaking, the more I felt tears building up. I was much younger than Jong Dae, far too trusting and naïve.

How long I walked, I had no idea. What I did know was that I ended up in front of a cute coffee shop with tears streaming down my face. I swiped at the tears with my shaky fingers, but found that it did not suffice. Grabbing the short sleeve of Jong Dae's old shirt that I had been wearing, I wiped them away.

I stepped out of the humid summer air into the safety of the home-y cafe. The fragrance of freshly brewed coffee and peppermint tea immediately greeted me, and I couldn't help but smile just a bit.

As I walked up to the register to order, the boy at the register gave me a sad smile. "What can I get for you, sweetheart? It'll be on me; looks like you've had a rough day," he said sweetly. I hiccuped a thanks and mustered up a small smile.

"Small, iced peppermint tea, please."

He nodded and typed my order into the computer before pushing a small pink button. "Thank you very much for ordering, darling. It'll be right out."

I moved off to the side where the order pickup looked to be. The only other person there was a boy who looked to be about my age. He was tall and handsome as far as I could tell. It was a bit hard to tell because he had a black fashion mask on his face along with a black baseball cap on. However, I could see that his eyelashes were full and cast tiny shadows on his cheeks. His eyes were prettily almond shaped with a deep color. "Excuse me, sir?" I whispered gently.

He turned to look at me, and I noticed his eyes began to soften, probably with pity. "Yes?"

"I'm so sorry to bother you, but I've had a rough day. My boyfriend broke up with me, and I'm really fragile right now, and I need a hug, and you look like a good hugger, and can I have a hug?" I babbled. The boy chuckled. His eyes crinkled at the corners and showed brightness that I hadn't noticed before.

"Sure thing," he responded, opening his arms. I wrapped my arms around his torso, holding him closely like I had to Jong Dae. His arms wrapped around me as well, one hand playing at the ends of my short hair. The boy was warm, and as I had predicted: he was a good hugger. He was comfortable and not as skinny as Jong Dae, more built. We stayed like that for a short while before I pulled away.

"Thank you, I needed that," I said, bowing and laughing to myself.

"No worries. I'm sorry to bring this back up, but who was your boyfriend, and why did the two of you break up?"

I sighed. "Kim Jong Dae. I had been dating him since I was fifteen, and we broke up because he had been cheating on me with Oh Se Hun's older sister."

His eyes widened in shock. "Whoa. you mean, the Kim Jong Dae? From Exo?" I nodded. "Wow, I'm sorry, must've been rough. Actually, I'll give you my number. If you need another good hug or a sushi date, or something of the like, shoot me a text. I'm Jung Kook. Jeon Jung Kook."

I smiled and thanked him again as he rushed to find a napkin to write on, a pen already in hand. Soon, he found one and scribbled his phone number onto the napkin before handing it to me. "Thank you."

"What's your name and age, miss?"

"Min Yoon Ah. I was born December 12, 1997, so eighteen international age, twenty Korean. what about you?"

"September 1, 1997, so I'm also twenty Korean age. But really soon to be nineteen international age."

My drink was called, so I left briefly to pick that up. "Hey, I'm sorry, but I need to leave. It's kind of late, and my mom will be getting worried soon. Thank you for the hug and your phone number, Jeon Jung Kook," I said, bowing once more before leaving the shop.
