------------ Jin's POV --------- ( continued )

Jin stood up  from his chair and walked to his door. He peeked out of the window to see his love ( Ross ) giving the thumbs -up sign and walking after Max. Jin gave way to a small smile at the sight. Max then turned around, said something, presumably "Fuck off or I'll shove your thumb up your ass!", then he turned his back from the light brunette that followed him. Ross then stood still and waited for Max to turn a corner before trying to follow the ginger once more. Jin stood there for a few moments before stepping out of his office. His heart pounded and ached yet, he somehow found an uprising courage to admit to Ross.

He had started to follow where he saw Ross walk. He heard Ross' footsteps, surely Max did too. He followed the sound to see Ross with a dumb smile and staring at Max with his thumbs-up pressed against Max's chest. Max stared back with irritation blazing in his eyes. "Ross," Max said calmly, "I'll give you three seconds to back off. One . . . Two . . . " "Well, fuck you too then!" Ross said as he turned away from Max. Max smiled with amusement and satisfaction at Ross then turned to walk away. "Oh, hi Jin. Didn't expect to see you here" Ross said with slight surprise as he turned to face him. "Hi Ross" Jin replied, not making eye contact. He felt weak in his knees. He had lost all his courage to tell Ross, he was hopeless. Who am I kidding, there's no way I can tell Ross. I can't even speak when we're so close, Jin thought. "Uh . . . you okay, man? You seem sad" Ross asked. Jin's heart pounded with panic. R-Ross actually noticed!? Oh no . . .

What do I do? What do I do? Okay, Jin think. "Uh . . . I-I'm not sad . . . y-you're just . . . " Jin couldn't finish. His breath wouldn't allow him to. "Jin, seriously, what's wrong?" Ross asked as he walked closer, the concern in his eyes growing more and more. Ross was now beside Jin, his arm draped across Jin's shoulders in a comforting way. Heat had risen to Jin's cheeks so he looked away to hide it. "It's okay, Jin. Trust me. If it's something you can't say then . . . I promise I won't tell anyone. I-I . . . I just want to know what's wrong . . . please?" Ross told him. "D-don't worry about me . . . I'm fine. It's just . . . " Jin couldn't say anymore. He felt like falling, with Ross this close to him, as well as that warm bubbly feeling he had inside. But his heart pounded and ached from the secret he was  keeping. What am I to do? He asked himself. J-just don't . . . tell . . .

---------------Ross' POV------------- (FINALLY)

"I-I can't tell you, Ross. I just can't. You wouldn't understand" Jin told him finally. There was a hint of sadness in Jin's voice, which only made Ross worry more. "Jin, I understand more than you think. Please, tell me. How can I help you when you won't say what's bothering you?" Ross persisted, trying not to make Jin snap. He stared into Jin's dark eyes which avoided his own. "Jin, . . . tell me . . " Ross edged on. "I can't . . . " Jin replied, his voice sounded suddenly hollow. He then moved away from Ross and began to walk back towards his office. what's wrong Jin? Ross wanted to ask, but he knew he'd get the same answer: "I can't tell you".

His heart pounded with feelings, he hated to see Jin so down in the dumps. At the same time, he had something he needed to tell him. So he tried to grab Jin's attention before Jin had entered his office. "Jin I would understand . . . " Ross trailed off. He watched to see Jin stop walking to reply, "Ross . . . I just know you wouldn't feel the same. I'd rather not be broken . . . " he replied, his voice was sad and serious. I wouldn't feel the same? You'd rather not be broken? Heart broken? Ross tried to put things together in his mind. It was obvious that Jin wasn't going to walk back over to Ross so he quickly thought of an excuse. "Jin . . . come here. I have something to show you. I can't believe it slipped my mind" Ross tried to fake happiness while his feelings raked at his throat like claws. If he was truly keeping his feelings hidden then I'd better tell him first, Ross thought. "What is it?" Jin asked skeptically. "Some fanart for you that a fan sent in the mail along with mine. They said 'Give everyone their respective pictures'."

Jin stared for a few brief moments before replying, "Okay".

I can't believe that worked! Okay now to lead Jin to the box room. "Come to the box room with me. That's where I put le fanart" Ross told Jin. Jin's eyes gleamed with curiosity as he nodded and began to follow.
