"I can't believe we actually did that. I mean, we've been broken up for so long and then we just..." Natasha said, biting her lip.

They were still talking about the night before by the time they were eating lunch.

"Nat, we're going to be okay. Seriously. And if you want to get back together we can, but if you don't, then..." Clint said.

"I want to get back together." Natasha said quickly, without any doubt in her voice.

Clint nodded. "Me too."

"But last night, Clint. We can't just shrug it off." Natasha said.

"Because it was amazing. One of the best nights of my life." Clint said, smiling at her. He got up and sat on the couch next to her.

"Really? You thought it was amazing?" She grinned.

"Of course." He pushed some of her hair behind her ear. Leaning forward, he traced along her cheekbone until his hand was on the side of her face. He put his other hand on the opposite side of her face. He looked into her eyes, but she shyly looked down. "Tasha." He said.

She met his gaze and smiled slightly. "Yeah?"

Clint said nothing, the only thing he did was lean in closer and kiss her.

Natasha felt his warm and soft lips press against hers. She kissed him back, smiling. When he started to gently pull back, Natasha grinned and pulled away.

"That was nice." Clint said, smiling at her.

"I've missed that." Natasha said, her face becoming serious.

"Me too."

They both leaned in for another kiss, but were interrupted by a pounding on the door.

Clint stood up. "I'll get it." He walked over to the door and looked through the peephole. Immediately he groaned.

"Who is it?" Natasha asked.

"It's Fury." He said with no joy.

"Goddammit," Natasha stood up and went to hide in Clint's bedroom.

Clint opened the door as soon as Natasha was out of sight. "Director Fury, good after-"

"Barton, I know Romanoff is here." Fury said.

"Sir, I have no idea what you're talking about." Clint said.

"When somebody says that 'they have no idea what you're talking about', that means they know everything about what you're talking about." Fury said with an unimpressed face.

"Sir, I-" Clint started.

"Romanoff, you might as well come out of his room." Fury yelled into the hallway as he stepped inside the house.

"Director, how did you know that-" Natasha said as she walked down the hallway.

"I have cameras installed in all of my agents houses. You think you were an exception?" Fury asked.

"Look, sir, what are you here for?" Clint asked.

"You two."

"Do you have a mission, sir?" Natasha asked.

"No. I just wanted to tell you that I'm fine with you two dating. There's only one exception." Fury said.

"What's that, sir?" Clint asked.

He turned to Natasha. "Don't get pregnant. I need your skills."

"Yessir." She said, her face turning red.

And with a nod, Fury left.

"What the hell...?" Clint said.

"Was that about?" Natasha finished his question.

"It's like he suddenly cares about our personal lives..." Clint said with confusion.

"Weird." Natasha said.

Four months later

Natasha looked at the small white stick she was holding in horror. It wasn't true. It wasn't possible. Not for her. She felt tears welling up in her eyes. She turned to the mirror.

"This isn't happening." She said.
