Winter break was over and sadly a bunch of people came back. But most importantly, Allison hasn't come back. Allison isn't even an intimidating name. Lord Allison, I mean really? Alice thinks she's good but I don't buy it for a second. Yes people can change like Scorpius but her father killed too many people. My uncle, Albus's grandparents, Teddy's parents, Sirius Black and many other people. Alice thinks people can change so easily but when your parents do that how can they raise you right. Scorpius bought into it but he shouldn't, he looks up to Sirius Black for heaven's sakes. The war he started killed people my family is close to. I look around Alice and I thought it was best not to tell the others about our power. I tug at the sleeve of my jumper then crawl out of bed. Carefully I change into my Animagi form and nudge Alice.
"What?" She mutters, "Oh ok." She changes into a brown dove and walk down to the Slytherin common room. I remember what Scorpius says to open the room. We walk in and wake up the boys.
"What?" Scorpius says angerly. They both change into form and follow me out of the castle.
"Are you crazy?"Albus says.
"Yes," I reply and head to the greenhouse.
"Why are we going here?" Alice hisses.
"Because if she was there once chances are she is here again," I bark.
"I'm not getting in the way of her," Scorpius says and I smile. Alice unwillingly opened the greenhouse and we step in.
"Rose we could get caught," Albus says worried.
"This is more important," I protest.
"I think sleep is more important," Scorpius groans and I shoot him a look.
"Finally someone caught on," a voice says and walks into the light. I grab my wand from my robe and hold it behind my back. Allison comes into the light and pushes her hair out of her eyes.
"Let me guess the red head figured it out," she points out.
"Yes," I say bravely.
"Oh please it's clear as day white haired was busy drooling over red. Black head is half-asleep, and I've seen dirty-blonde's father. I've met a doorknob brighter than him," she scoffs.
Alice takes out her wand and growls.
"Watch it, we can turn you in," Alice barks.
"Oh but the Golden Group's legendary parents wouldn't do that, too simple," she says sarcastically.
"Oh you want to do sarcasm, I can do sarcasm!" Scorpius barks.
"Scorp, please," Albus says, holding the back of his robe.
"Don't you ever think you don't fit. Your grandfather is in Azkaban, all their grandparents are heroes or something," She taunts.
"My grandparents are dentist," I announce and clench my teeth.
"Ok ok let's get down to business. Why did you come? I'm perfectly fine. Bits of teasing and sarcasm here and there but please I'm not him," She says.
"Oh we know that you have a nose," Alice taunts.
"Back to this, why are you here?" Albus says.
"Needed a home and everyone says Hogwarts is a home," She says bitterly.
"A home for everyone but you," Scorpius backfired.
"Listen how about good guy here talks to McGonagall and tries to get me in. I have a cover up name, Allison Cult," she beams.
"That's crazy!" Alice boasts.
"But it could work," Albus says and I face him.
"Are you kidding me? Albus!" I say and Scorpius shoots me a look.
"You need to chill, Rosie. Ever since she came you have been tense," Scorpius says.
"Chill? She's Voldemort's daughter! Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy, have you lost your mind?" I say, angrily.
"I think you have Weasley. You can't judge someone on their parents! You should know that based on my past," he says and I see his eyes boil with anger and his jaw clenched.
"Ok Malfoy but your family is different then her's!" I say stepping closer.
"Oh really how different, they were both in the dark arts," he says and steps closer to me. His anger is rising and mine is too.
"Agh! Scorpius, your father was merely a follower not the Dark Lord himself," I say raising my clenched fist. He grabs my wrist and holds them away from him.
"You know what, Weasley. You never changed at all. All I see is your red hair and blue eyes and forget who you are. You are nothing but a girl who comes from a poor family!" He booms and I lose my anger. Alice's scoffs and Albus drags Scorpius outside. We stand in silence once Scorpius leaves.
"Is this all that happens here?" Allison says and I glare at her.
"He's a Slytherin what could you except?" I say meanly.
"Albus is a Slytherin and he is perfectly fine," Alice says.
"You two lovebirds again," I groan and run out pushing past Albus and Scorpius. I never liked him, we are friends, best friends, and friends have fights. But when you bring up family that's a no. I walk into the castle and though the corridors to the library.
"Blimey," I mutter as I try to open the door. "Alohomora," I say and tap the doorknob with my wand. Carefully I walk in and sit at one of the tables. Looking around I pick up a book on the spine it says,"Wizard Family Rivals."
"Oh joy," I mutter. I flip to the "W's" and find Weasley next to it shows the Malfoy's. At the very bottom of the Weasley tree showed all my cousins. Since it's a wizard photo it moves, I see myself looking at me right in the eyes.
"Forever the Weasley's and Malfoy's have hated each other and that's never going to end," I mumble.
"Not with that attitude," a familiar voice says, I whip my head around and Malfoy stands there.
"Sod off, Malfoy," I say harshly.
"If that's how it's going to be Weasley," he replies.
"You don't know anything about me past Quidditch or grades do you?" I ask angered.
"I guess I don't...But, when you are confused you scrunch your eyebrows together and give a toothy grin. You didn't want to be sorted into Ravenclaw because you didn't want people to think you are your mother. Your bogart is your mom finding out you want to play Quidditch not be an Auror. You would do anything for your family or friends. And in your big family the weak don't survive. You like jumpers and flannels because you consider yourself a tomboy. Muggle items interest you and you are an amazing wizard chess player like your dad," he says and smirks,"Is that enough?" All those are true but I can't help but still be angry at him.
"You know I would do anything for family and you insulted my family. Take it back," I say.
"I'm sorry," he says.
"You better be," I reply quickly.
"Don't you think this is strange, Allison shows up and everything goes down hill?" He asks looking over at the book.
"I guess but is it really safe to allow her into Hogwarts," I say meeting his eyes.
"Probably not but knowing us we will anyway," he says and I laugh a bit.
"So we are The Golden Group now," I ask and he nods.
"More like Lovebirds and their red head and white haired friend," he says and I smile.
"I'm still mad at you but revenge is better beating you at Quidditch," I say and a small smile forms on his face. I turn around and put the book away and say,"Hey Malfoy if you still want to be friends you might want to work on not insulting my family because next time that happens you-"
"Miss Weasley and Mr Malfoy what are you doing here at this hour," Professor McGonagall's voice rings outs. I quickly turn around and Professor McGonagall stands in the doorway and Scorpius is frozen at the table.
"Extra studying," I say instantly.
"Yes exams coming up very soon," Scorpius says.
"Can't that wait till morning... But knowing your parents it makes some since. Not one more word, off to bed," she orders and Scorpius and I run out of the library towards the stairs.
"Mr. Malfoy, Slytherin's dorms are that way," Professor McGonagall scolds.
Gosh, how I hate Malfoy, I think as I run off to my dorm.
"Finally," Alice says when I return,"I was beginning to worry."
"Oh shush Longbottom," I say softly and climb back into bed.
"Night Weasley," she calls.
"Night Longbottom," I whisper and fall asleep.
