I sprinted up the stairs, tears dripping down my cold cheeks. I didn't understand it... Why me? I felt so alone.

I climbed into my warm bed. Pulling the cream covers over my head. Making my it as dark as possible. I closed my moist eyes, allowing my wet eyelashes to hit my under eyes. I let one last tear escape before I drifted my self unto a better place.

"Ava...." I felt someone's hand gripping my side.

I unraveled myself from my warm covers and looked up.

"Yes mom?" I said.

"Dinner.." She said giving me a hopeful look.

"No thank you mom." I said smiling.

"Alright, goodnight sweetie I love you." She said planting a kiss on my forehead

I pulled the covers back over my head. I closed my eyes. But before I could contain it the harsh thoughts came running into my brain like wild fire.

"Please," I whispered to myself,"not today."

It was dark the sound of my fan kept me calm. I turned around grabbing my phone off the charger. No texts, nothing new. I unlocked the phone and clicked upon YouTube. Nothing new to watch. Nothing but snobby youtubers along my feed. I rolled my eyes. I miss it.. the old YouTube.

my life used to revolve around the random strangers talking to their cameras. updating me on there life, their stories, themselves.

I scrolled up and down my subscriptions, "ugh." I sighed seeing there was nothing to watch.. as usual.

i clicked on Ellie's channel to see if she'd posted anything, Nothing. I went to her liked videos. A video called "Prank Calling Hookers." it sounded funny so I clicked it.

I started watching. "Hows it going YouTube." He instantly made me laugh. I finished the video and found myself clicking another, & then another, & another, I was addicted. I hadn't laughed like that in such a long time. My smile was real & wasn't forced. It felt good.

I soon was finding all of my favorite things about him. His name sent shivers down my spine & pressed a smile on my face.

"Gabe." I said out loud smiling. "Gabe." I said one last time.

His smile killed me. He would do the littlest things. But it was the cutest. He would exhale out of his tiny nose and smile, closing his bright eyes. I would rewind to watch those parts over and over again. I soon went onto his channel. Finding myself watching each one from his videos.

I looked up at the time 3:47 it flashed. "Wow," I said. I couldn't believe how I had already fell for this guy in the time span of 7 hours.
