So, now that I was stuck I just as well enjoy the view.
Everything was tinted green so I couldn't really see the world very well and the ride wasn't very smooth considering that legs have no shocks and glass is pretty hard.
I could tell that we were above about the same area and the robot was scanning everything in sight. Then it stopped
It was so abrupt my paws slipped and I nearly broke my nose on the ground....... ' so Much for safe' I thought, and looked twards where the robot was scanning. There was one of those silly little scientists from the lab.
"Oh no" I said, I almost said "oh no she better not be followed by all the others, but I stopped myself.
The robot lowered down and stabilized itself then Shot a glass ball at her.
It hit straight on, a much different strategy than my capture.
The jumping started up again and I hit my head on the top of the glass and was knocked out.
When I woke she was next to me. No one else new was here besides her so I tried to talk to her, the glass was thick but I think she heard some of my "HI" scream because she looked at me.
She mouthed "Hi." Back or maybe she said it who knows
Then the ground shook and my ball rotated to the direction of forward.
Clink.
I looked forward as well and saw a building.
A very big building.
The robots paws were clamped to the ground too.
This was weird, I turned around to the scientist and saw her looking straight up.
So I did too.
The robots back was entirely lifted off and a tube from the ceiling was picking up the glass balls, it had already picked up two by the time I looked back down and was going quite fast.
I decided to close my eyes and hope I wouldn't get jerked around very much.
But, I did. The air around me darkened and the ball twisted and rotated too many times to count.... or even concentrate on counting to be honest.
When I hit the ground I was too dizzy to see straight but the top of my ball was still dark. I didn't know what was going on but I saw two blades come into my ball from the dark place, before long a small hole was carved in the top.
A grinding noise sounded above me.
My eyes focused and I looked up the dark place looked like a plunger with a hole in the middle and two little razor blades around the hole.
A green goo sprayed into the hole while I was contemplating wether the ball was actually made of glass or not because those knives seamlessly cut through it.
My brain started to feel like liquid and I fell over.
That's all I remember
When I woke up I couldn't breath, or so I thought the whole ball was filled with a greenish water-like substance. I instantly held my breath for no reason because the second I couldn't hold it any longer I breathe in, and it was like breathing normally but with more resistance. I guess.
I looked around. Nothing. More nothing.
I didn't bother to look around anymore.
What was this place? I was really, really tired for some reason I hadn't really done anything that night, or day who knows.
Suddenly, the lights flashed on and the glass.... or whatever it was, fogged up entirely, from the outside so I couldn't see anything but colors and blurry shapes.
Then, I felt a sharp prick at the back of my head, I looked around to see what it was. I looks up and saw four or five really thin little wires and one of them had just stabbed me.
I didn't know why but suddenly all the others came down quickly and "pricked" me.
Ow.
Ow.
Ow.
Ow.
Once they were all stabbing me they flooded with narcotics or something because they stopped hurting.
The glass started to clear up and I saw where I was.
This was not good.
At all.
I was in a very large room with at least a hundred or two other glass balls with creatures in them, And about six glass tanks with dry bedding and other things you would normally see in a rodent cage.
One of the humans started to walk towards me. I felt kinda threatened but I stayed calm knowing that if I went insane they would probably throw me out or kill me or something, so I did nothing.
She un-clipped my ball from the rack and took me to a table.
My ball hit the table with a thump and the human was reading a manual with a confused expression.
She picked up the ball and opened it.
I fell out and gasped for breath for the transition from the liquid to air was not normal at all. She picked me up by the tail, which felt like my spine was being pulled out, thanks rat ancestors.
She sat me on a diff table and taped my hands down, I didn't know why because it's not like I knew how to get away anyway.
She pulled out a syringe filled with a liquid that looked like mercury.
This didn't look good.
The needle itself didn't actually hurt that much but, the injection was the most painful thing I had ever experienced.
My blood felt like it was crawling.
Then she put me back in an empty ball and clipped me back onto a different rack opposite of the one I was on before, and stuck a label on the front.
I couldn't really read what it said because it was backwards and difficult to make out the letters, it was something like tnegilletni.
But that doesn't matter, because the human left the room and the lights went out.
