You ended up crying on him after school. He offered to walk you home and weakly, you agreed.
You hoped that this thing between the two of you was real, but there is a glint of suspicion that he might be using you as well, just as his brother did. He pat your shoulder. The injury still hurts. That reminds you, why did they bite you? What are they?
"Wh- what are you?" You choked out.
"Are you an idiot?"
"A..."
"Vampire, yes." He sighed.
Your body tensed.
"If you tell anyone, I'll kill you," he said.
You leaned closer to him, and for a second you thought, it might be better that way. Nononono don't you can't think that. Get a hold of yourself. Don't.
"Haven't you brothers hurt me enough?" You asked, sardonically, holding back tears.
He seemed to sense your discomfort and he brought you closer, ruffling your hair gently. Then, he asked you, "then why are you still alive? Aren't you sick of it?"
"Well, I- I don't know. I guess I'm trying to make myself think things are going to turn out fine huh?" You let out a chuckle. He looked at you with concern. "I mean, it's- it's just one thing right? It doesn't mean I'm dirty or unclean right? It doesn't mean no one will want to be near me right? I mean, you're still here... Right...? I'm not disgusting am I? Tell me..."
"No, you're right, you're not. I'm still much worse"
"...how so?"
"..."
"It's okay, you don't have to answer. Anyway, its in that building in the left."
"Nn."

The two of you entered the flat. You asked him if he wanted to stay for a while. He agreed to stay. You offered him tea as he laid down on your sofa, to which he replied, "don't bother,"
"What about snacks?"
"I said don't bother"
"Vampires don't eat food?"
"We can, don't have to."
"Oh..." You said, sitting on a nearby armchair. Now what? All you knew was that if people came to visit, you give them tea and snack. If he doesn't want either then what were you supposed to do? You just sat quietly and he does too. Is he dozing off? Uh, should you wake him up? Maybe not. Well, work is still in 1 and a half hour and it takes half an hour to get there so you might as well change.

"What's with those clothes?" He asked, raising am eyebrow.
"Well, they're my work clothes?" You said, flustered.
"You work in a maid cafe?"
Your face turned bright red but you admitted it.
"How troublesome... So you work during the day to pay your school fees?"
"Y- yes"
"And your parents?"
"Gone"
He sighed, sitting up.
"Live with us"
"I'm sorry, are you kidding?"
"We'll pay your school fee and everything"
"Yes of course but there's a catch isn't there? And besides why would I? There's that guy in there. I don't want to live under the same roof as him. Oh, and I'd like to live normally and not be a livestock thank you."
"Hmph, he'll still hurt you anyway,"
"Yes but at least I'm free," your voice wavered.
"Are you?"
"Then kill him for me,"
"What makes you think I'll follow your orders huh?"
"Didn't you say you wanted to kill him?"
His eyes widened and- wait what? Was that a blush upon his cheeks? "If I do it, I'm not doing it for you,"
"Says the one who hugged me and walked me home" your voice cracked.
"Or was that just to get my blood?"
"Shut up,"
"No, answer me-"
" I said SHUT UP!" He screamed, standing up abruptly and kicking your coffee table. You let out a surprised gasp and you looked down. Your vision was blurry with tears and you could see his shadow walking, leaving. He slammed the door behind him, hard. You let out a sob.
