I Love You, Goodbye

      When the kiss finally ended, we looked deep into each other’s eyes.

      I can’t explain the emotions that I am feeling right now. It’s like fireworks in the clear sky, like a blind man seeing for the first time, like seeing the rainbow after a hurricane.

      “I love you Haru.” He whispered into my ear.

      “I love you.” I replied.

      Then he pecked me on my cheek.

      When the rain finally stopped, he accompanied me back to my hotel.

      We spent the next few days together and it felt like years instead of days. Whenever we were together, I felt like those moments would never end.

      But like all things temporary, this is going to end. My stay here in Seoul is about to end and we both don't know what is going to happen. I'm going back to the Philippines but he can't at the moment.

      All we can do to is to hope that our paths will cross again one day.
