A little girl had hidden behind the couch of their living room, with chocolates that she have come to steal from her grandfather's refrigerator. She was not allowed to eat any of it because she got sick. But then, who could stop a girl's hunger and wants?

While she was savoring the last chunk of chocolate she got, she heard an old's man laughter, getting near to where she was. Alarmed, she shoved the chocolate into her mouth, in case she'd get caught.

She then wiped her mouth using her dress, trying to clean herself up. The pretty white dress that she wore, got stains of chocolate. But as a kid, she did not noticed it and continued using her dress to wiped her mouth.

She peeked at the living room, only her head showing a little. She saw the old man sitting on a chair, facing nothing but an old dark huge table. She got curious as to why the old man was sitting there, so she remained quite. She wanted to see what will her grandfather do.

The old man opened the table, to see white and black separate keys on it. A frown was etched upon her face when she realized it was not just a table.

Her frown deepened when the old man presses one key, resulting a sound.

"Oh, how I miss playing the piano." She heard the old man sigh deeply. What is a piano anyway? And what did he mean by playing?

She watched intently when the old man began moving his fingers flawlessly and effortlessly. She was amazed by the combination of sound it gives.

She stared at the man in wonder and in awe. She did not know how he did it, but he rocks. She did not know her grandfather, who's old and wrinkly, could produce such wonderful melodies pleasant to her ears.

She closes her eyes and enjoyed every sound. She smiled when her heart beat furiously inside her chest. She wanted so bad to join her grandfather but decided not to, seeing her grandfather would see her and will question her about why was she hiding there anyway.

As a kid, she does not know how to lie. So, lies about hiding did not really crossed her mind.

With one last press of the key, the music ended, so did she open her eyes to find out that her grandfather's eyes was closed and a small smile was in his lips. "Very well, then." Her grandfather moved, and stood up from his place and began marching towards the door.

But Briana, the curious girl she is, went up and ran towards the piano. She tiptoed and presses one key.

She was dying to try and play also. She wanted to close her eyes while playing, like how her grandfather did.

But,

She did not know that the time she presses one key, the time her curiousity got the better of her, was also the time her grandfather turned around with a smile tugged on his lips.

"I think someone wants to learn the world of music."
