"Your what?" I ask. This little girl is 3 or 4.

"My daughter" she repeats.

"Bit- you told me you was a gold star lesbian" I say. Gold star lesbian meaning she has never slept with a male.

"Long story short I've been there all Carmen's life so even tho I didn't have her doesn't make her any less of mine. Let's leave it at that now let's go"she says shutting me down. I don't say anything I just follow her to the car. Carmen is adorable she tiny tho.

"Lil mama get in your car seat"Zoey tell Carmen who crawls in. She seat belts her down. She gets in the front.

"mommy Ze I thirsty" Carmen says quietly. Its cute cause her way of say Z sounded like she was saying like she say D it was cute. I couldn't help but smile. You would think she was Zoey's kid if you saw them together the look similar.

"who her mom?" I ask but instantly regret it because her jaws clench and her grip on the steering wheel tightens. I see a flash of rage shoots through her eyes.

"okay" I leave it at that.

"Aye you want me to sign her up for my daycare" I ask. She looks up at mean her hard green emerald eyes soften.

"Yeah that works what time you get off" she asks.

"6" I say.

"Aight I'll pick you up." she says and smiles.

Zoey

I watch Yani walk into the daycare. Damn she is so fine. The things I would do to her. I look at my watch and see its about time to meet up with Leo and Anna.

"Lady C do you wanna go to get a toy" I ask my daughter her big brown eyes light up.

"yeah" she says. I pull up to a toy store I know none of the mafia lords are at. Her eyes are ecstatic I love the way her light brown eyes light up when she happy. One of the many reasons I kept her happy. She picks out a doll a teddy bear and magic wand yeah I know I said one but hey she too cute to say no to. I hate seeing her cry one thing her mom hated about me I always gave my daughter what she wanted. Yes I spoil my baby girl. After we leave the toy store we head the meet up with Leo and Anna.

When we get there they are already waiting. Anna was laying on Leo arm and Leo is stroking Anna head.

"Could you two be in anymore love" I say and fake gag. Leo flicks me off. Anna just laughs. I sit down across from them. Carmen stands on the end of the table.

"Lady C comere" I say and she crawls on my lap and lays her head on my chest with the teddy bear I gave her before......the incident. Its a green buddy with yellow bows wrapped around the ears. The eyes are black. I stroke her curls.

"who is this?" Leo says.

"Her name is Carmen she's my daughter" I say. Anna gasps and turns to Leo and Anna places her hand on her stomach.

"Leo I think we can tell her" Anna says her eyes soft and loving.

"Tell me what" I ask.

"well we were gonna tell you and Ryan together but I haven't been able to reach him" Leo says.

"Uh you wont Ryan's in Jail"I say looking down.

"Since when" Anna says her voice filled with concern and sadness.

"Three years ago" I say.

"Oh"they say in unison.

"Yeah but what do you two want to tell me" I ask.
