27- Are You Serious...?

"I'm in love with you."

My breath caught in my throat and the whole room just stopped. I couldn't focus on anything but Liam. I couldn't get any words out. I saw his eyes fill with tears and I quickly motioned him to come over towards me. That Zayden guy looked upset but happy at the same time.

Liam walked over to me, all of our eyes were on him. He stood at the end of the bed but Louis and Niall pushed him next to me. I reached up and wrapped my arms around his neck, bringing him down to connect our lips together. He gasped into the kiss but soon melted into it.

The whole zoo trampled in my stomach and it felt like I was getting shocked repeatedly. I was running out of breath so I pulled away and pressed his forehead against mine.

"Are you serious?" I asked him in a whisper.

"As serious as I'll ever be." He whispered back with a huge smile. I had to smile at him.

"I love you too."

Liam's POV.

I smiled again before pulling away from him completely. I turned around just in time to see Zayden walking out the door crying. I looked over at Louis and Niall before walking out as well. He had his back to the door and his body was shaking slightly. I walked up behind him.

"Z?" I whispered, making him turn around and look at me. His face had tear stains on it and his eyes were red.

"Hey Li." He smiled sadly. I could help to pull him into a hug. "I'm happy for you.." He mumbled into my chest.

"What's wrong?" I asked in his hair. He sniffed before looking up at me again.

"It hurts Liam. I only did it to make you happy. I'm in love with you. It just hurts when I saw Harry kiss you. I'm just scared to let you go because you won't come back to me." He cried. My heart cracked and guilt filled me.

"I'm so sorry Z. I'll come visit you a lot okay? And we have to keep in touch for when you leave. And remember, I'll always love you." I whispered back to him.

"C-Can I have one more kiss?" I nodded and he immediately leaned up and connected our lips. This kiss was nothing like any others. It was just lips. No tongue or anything else. He poured every emotion into this kiss and I let him. In all honesty, I'm gonna miss kissing him so much. I do love him, just not the way I love Harry.

He finally pulled away from me and took a deep breath. "I love you Liam James Payne."

"It may not be the same, but I love you too Zayden Logan Shoppe."

"Now, go get your man." He laughed slightly, wiping his eyes and his nose. I smiled at him and nodded before we both walked back in the room.

"Sorry." I said with a small smile. I walked over to Harry and sat down next to him. "So."

"So." He copied.

"For fucks sake! Harry, you're now Liam's Boyfriend!" Louis said with a smile as he hugged Zayden.

"I'm fine with that." I said teasingly.

"Uhm! No! Get away from me!" He said playfully pushing me. I gasped, acting hurt.

"How dare you!"

"Oh I'm just kidding come here you goof ball!"

Just like that, our lips were connected yet again and I felt like I was on cloud nine.

"I love you." He whispered against my lips.

"And I love you too."
