The tall figure stood over me. It was quiet except for the sounds of the drips of water from the sink. Paranoia . That's what I felt.
"Yes or no?"
I looked up seeing the blondes face. Her eyes were what I noticed first. They were big , they brought out her face. Her lips were pressed together with a smile on them slowly appearing.
"Nope. My heart only goes for Makoharu Ruby." I stuck my tongue out at her and she pouted.
"Don't play innocent, I know what you're going to do," she stood back as she looked down at me. I than felt her push me down.
"Ruby! Get the hell of me." I was trying not to laugh. Ruby and I had been talking about Free! her favorite anime. Somehow we managed to talk about ships and it got to Rinharu and Makoharu. Of course Ruby went for Rinharu but she had been questioning what my choice of ship was. Ruby ruffled my hair, and I could feel her soft hands run through my hair right after.
"Idiot, you could've agreed with me."
"I'll never agree with you"
"Fruits basket sucks than"
"Suck a dick Ruby "
"I've already sucked yours haven't I?"
I bursted out into laughter , almost crying because of that.
After a while she rested her head on my chest.
"Don't forget to take off your binder alright? I'm going to make dinner, as tomorrow we have a big day ahead of us. We get to go to Los Angeles for Christmas break!" she yelled excitedly. I smiled at her .
"Alright I'll go wear some pajamas."
I pushed her slightly off of me and got up. Our dorm room was small to say the least so I could only change in the bathroom if I wanted some peace and that's were I was heading .

I could feel her eyes on me. Seeing right through .
"Yajaira go take that binder off now."
I poured and shook my head
"I'll take it off like last time if I'm forced to." I shook my head and quickly ran to the bathroom . I locked myself in there for a few minutes before deciding to take it off. I wouldn't say I have the biggest boobs in the world, but they sure as hell weren't flat. I took off my binder quickly and put an oversized t-shirt on. I got back out and Ruby nodded .
"Some days you're impossible to work with you know." I ignored that comment and sat next to her.
"So what are we watching tonight ?"
"I thought about it and I decided. Fruits basket." I looked at her slightly shocked.
"Wait really? You mean it Ruby ? " she nodded and I smiled.
"I love you I love you I love you!" I yelled.
"I need to finish making dinner , the pastas cooking for a few more minutes alright? So let's wait until than . " I nodded. She stood up walking to the kitchen and opened the fridge to grab a soda.
It's been only a year since we both got accepted into Harvard. She wanted to be part of the medical career while I still followed my dream of being a lawyer. We didn't even realize we would be living with each other.We hadn't talked with each other for a few years after the Howlter bunch stopped being well the Howlter bunch . When we realized we would be roommates, it was awkward at first but soon we accepted it and now we're closer than ever. Thinking about it now it's only actually been three months to get this close. And now we're spending Christmas together in Los Angeles.

"Thank the lord you can cook unlike the first week we met."
Ruby's face turned red of embarrassment.
"S-shut up dumbass. At least I actually do cook unlike you."
"You're so rude some days." I pouted. She flicked my forehead in a way I understood . She was calling me dumbass without saying it.
"Just, let's go to sleep because we have to wake up early okay? " I sighed and picked up my plate . I quickly washed it and went to my bed. The covers were made of silk and it always made me happy. They were amazingly soft which I loved . I pulled my blanket over me and closed my eyes.
Tomorrow we get to go to Los Angeles. I've missed that place .
I smiled to myself knowing I could show off to Ruby some of my favorite locations . I closed my eyes, feeling tired after today.
