The Accident

"Hey April lets go into that field with all the Dandelions!"

"I don't know Hope, we might get into trouble."

"Ohh come on you chicken, it'll be fun," Hope ran across the road into the field of dandelions and corn.

"Hope...wait up," April glanced back, "Ohh come on chicken what could go wrong?" April ran after Hope and pushed through the corn. "Hope...Hope where are you?"

Giggles filled the air all around April. Ha-ha okay I'll play your little game, ready or not her I come. April ran round in round then she froze, listening closely she heard the wind then Crunch she ran towords the sound. Smack she had run right into Hope.

"Ouch, ha-ha see i told you this would be fun didn't I?" laughed Hope. They laughed and laughed until their stomachs hurt.

"Yeah you were right that was really fun, but were going to have really big bruises on our heads later."

"Hey you wanna play again," questioned Hope.

"Sure but only one more time, it will be dark soon."

"Yes, okay I'll count this time to fifteen. Okay get ready...one...two...three...four..."

April ran around trying to find a good spot to hide.

"seven... eight..."

Ohh gosh ohh gosh, April thought to herself where should I hide, all of a sudden she stopped right at a hole she looked down and it was deep and dark. She thought that she should stay away from that hole, someone could get badly injured. She said to her self, "Should I warn Hope...but then I get caught... nah she'll be fine." She saw a big rock and hid behind it.

"Fifteen ready or not here I come!" yelled Hope.

CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH, she was getting closer and closer.

"Ohh shoot I should run and find a different place to hide," thought April.

"Okay were are you," Hope whispered to herself. Hope had walked right past April.

Phew a gasp of relief came from April, April snuck up behind Hope, "BOO!"

"Ahhh!" screamed Hope. Hope had started to stumble backwards towards the deep dark hole. April grabbed her hand just in time. Hoped pulled April in for a hug weeping on her shoulder.

As April stroked little Hope she had apologized for scaring her and told her she should have warned her about that hole. All was silent except for Hopes whimpers.

"Your my very best friend and always will be, I forgive you." As they both hugged and cried into each other, a man had come up behind them both, they both were to distracted to realize some one was heading towords them they both looked up and had saw the man. They both looked up and had seen the man but he was blurry because they both had been crying all they knew was he had a big smile on his face. He stepped closer and whispered, "I've been waiting for you two, you girls shouldn't have wandered off like that."

Before they girls knew it they had been pushed into the deep dark hole falling... slowly like time was slowing down April looked at the man one last time before he disappeared, stubbly beard, dark green eyes, crooked teeth, and a hat like no other...an original. All of a sudden the mans big smile quickly faded to a mean angry frown. That had been the last image she saw.

Oww my head, what had just happened. April thought back to what had just happened. She remembered a man pushed me and Hope down that one deep dark hole. "h..o..p..e..ho..p..e..HOPE!" April slowly opened her eyes, a throbbing pain in her head reminding her of her hitting her head against Hope's.

W-Whe-Where am I... thought April. She looked around and it was really dark but she was able to make out a door with a lock, she felt the floor... it was hard like concrete. April got up and started to walk to the blurry figure but she was stopped she was chained up to the floor and hands tied behind her. "Help!" she screamed but duck tape was on her mouth."Help," she cried.
