Lux's POV

"Dracula..... I want to stay." I say to him and he looks shocked by my response. "Honey you will be the only werewolf here. Are you sur......." "Yes Mary I want to stay with you three. You make me happy." I say and they all smile at me. I smile back but it soon fades as I see Jason walk in with a bag. He throws it to me and I look in it. "Leave mut!" He sneers at me and I look at Dracula. "Don't look at them for help because they won't give you any." He says stepping forward. "I'm not leaving Jason." I say to him with a hit of fear in my voice. "YES YOU ARE! NOW IM GOING TO TELL YOU ONE MORE TIME. LEAVE THIS HOUSE BEFORE I KILL YOU. PUP!" He hisses at me and I start to silently cry. I look back at Dracula, Mavis and Mary mouthing goodbye. I walk past Jason but before I could exit the kitchen he grabs my wrist. "DON'T EVER COME BACK!" He sneers and I nod my head before exiting the house and shifting into my wolf.

After a while my dads house comes into view. I shift back and walk over to the door opening it and stepping in. I hear Jazz and Kylie laughing with my sister and I walk into the living room and they stop laughing and turn towards me. "Lux? What's wrong?" Kylie asks me and I can't help it I break down crying. I fall to the floor and am instantly enveloped in a group hug. I hear someone clear their throat and I look up and start to cry even more as I see my dad sitting in one one the chairs. I jump up and run to him. "Oh my god. How are you alive. They killed you. Are you...." I stat but am cut off. "I'm fine honey but the real question is, how are you?" He asks and I frown. "I feel like a rejected mate that's how." I say and I hear Jazz gasp. "He rejected you?" Kylie asks and I look down. "Yes he did. You see my son can be a bit temperamental at times, but now that you are gone he has realised what he has done and wants you back." I hear a voice say and I look up to see Dracula and Mavis standing in the doorway. I jump up and run over to them. I am enveloped in another hug but this time I feel more safer than before. "Lux. I am sorry." I hear a voice say and I growl. "LEAVE. ME. ALONE JASON!" I say slowly. "Lux. You didn't reject me back, so please, I beg of you. Come back with me. With us." Jason says meaning to come back with his family.

The tension in the room was to much to handle. An irritating silence fills the room. "Do you really expect her to go back with you. Your Highnes." Jazz sneers at Jason and I turn and look at her. "I will go back." I say and his face lifts up. "But not because of you." I say straight after and he frowns. I walk over to Mavis and she puts an Arm around my shoulder. I walk outside shifting into my wolf. "I'll race you." I say to her and she smiles, shifting and taking to the sky. In an instant I'm sprinting through the forest at top speed. After a what felt like a long run I am sitting down on the front porch with my wolf head on my paws waiting for Mavis and the others. After awhile Mavis is standing in front of me with a frown. "How is it a wolf can beat a bat?" She asks and I shrug my wolf shoulders standing up and shifting. I walk over to her tutting. "I just guess that wolves are better at racing than bats are." I say smiling at her and she growls. "You wish." "Lux. Can we talk." I hear Jon say and I roll my eyes. "I'll be inside Lux." Mavis whispers to me and I nod. "Look Lux. I'm sorry for what I said. I lost control. I an so s....." I hold up my hand to stop him. "Save it Jason." I say turning around to walk away but I get pulled back. "Let me go Jason." I say to him. "Lux please just give me a chance." He says and I shake my head. Rage building up inside me.

Mavis POV

I was walking back to the front door to go get Lux when the door literally freezes. "NO JASON. I WAS GOING TO GIVE YOU A CHANCE BUT YOU BLEW IT!" I hear Lux scream. I race over to the door and try as hard as I can to get it to open but it is frozen shut. "Lux please calm down. LUX PLEASE. I NEED YOU TO CALM DOWN!" I can hear the panic in Jason's voice. I turn around and sprint up stairs to mum and dads office. "MUM DAD!" I scream barging through their door. "Something is going on. Th front door. It's frozen shut. Lux and Jason." "Whoa, slow down honey what is it?" My mum asks and I take a few breaths. "Lux and Jason Arnott fighting and the front of the house is freezing cold with the front door frozen shut." I say and dad jumps out of the chair he was sitting in and sprints down stairs with me and mum not far behind. When we reach the front door I see dad in bat form flying towards the door. "LUX PLEASE CALM DOWN!" Jason yells. I look at mum and then relies that we can get out another way. "Dad, the back door." I say and he turns around grabbing me and mum and flying out the back door and around the front. Looking around I see a sight that makes me scream. Snow? No it want be snow. What is it? "LUX!" I scream. She turns to look at me. What shocks me the most is that her eyes aren't purple. There're white. "Lux. Your safe. We won't hurt you. But please, you need to calm down." My mum says and I see Lux's eyes turn back to normal. Dad walks over to her and grabs her arm. I take a better look at Lux and see that her hair is also white. She looks up at my dad and everything goes back to normal. "Did.....did I hurt anyone?" She asks. "No you just made it very cold." I say as I walk over to her. 'Take her inside.' My dad says through the bat link.i lead Lux back inside and up to her room. This might take a while.

Sitting on her bed I fiddle with my fingers trying to figure out how to ask her what is going on when she answers for me. "I think I can control whinter. You see the day I first met Jason I ran from him. After he fought with my dad he pinned me to a tree and then it started to snow." She says to me and I look at her. "Lux have you ever heard of the ice wolf?" I ask her and she nods. "It is possible that that is what you are." I say to her and she looks down. "Lux, you'll be fine. We will help you." I say to her and she nods standing up and walking out. I follow her and find her in my dad office talking to by my parents. I hear Jason walk up to my and sigh. "What will it take for her to trust me?" He asks me and I shrug. "Time." I say turning to look at him. "Just give her time. That's all she needs." I say walking up to my room.

Lux's POV

"But what if I don't want to be this ice wolf?" I ask Mary and Dracula. "Lux. You don't have a choice. You were chosen and the only way you can control it. Is to trust Jason. I shake my head. "You too?" I ask as I hear the door open and shut. I than hear the door lock. I stand up turning around and come face to face with Jason. "What!?" I snap and he flinches at my tone. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't of snapped like that." I say and grab the keys walking to the door and unlocking it. I walk out and up to my room.

After showering I get changed and hop into bed. I spend 20 minuets just staring at the roof thinking about who and what I am. 'What am I?' Was my last thought before I drift off to sleep.
