(Yoongi's POV)
"Pass me a couple more shots," I grumble. My words slur slightly from the alcohol I had already consumed. The bar tender smiles and turns away to pour two more shots of vodka for me. Even though my head is bowed and my vision isn't the clearest, her brown hair and tight dress that hugged her waist so perfectly was frustrating me to no end. She was pretty, very pretty. I frown as she sets the small glasses in front of me. I glance up at her, her eyes sparkling in the dimly lit building. I picked up one of the two shots, feeling the cold, smooth glass against my lips. I tilt my head back and throw the liquid into the back of my throat. It burned, as usual. I grimace and put my head back down, only to see the bar tender still staring at me. She smirks and slowly picks up one of her hands. She ever so lightly drags a finger along my jawline, making me lift my head up a bit. I watch as her face leans closer to mine. I blink and pull my head back. Her eyes narrow and she pulls away, making a scoffing sound as she does so. She turns and walks away, going to take care of another group of guys on the other side of the bar. Their eyes were large and almost hungry looking. Like dogs being teased with a bone. I wasn't into chicks. "Pathetic.." I whisper and pick up the other glass. Doing the same as before, the back of my throat started burning. It was a pleasant burning though. It was the feeling of all my worries and cares being washed away, that was the point. I set the glass back down and slide off the bar stool. I look down at my legs, waiting to make sure I could hold myself up before turning around and walking into the crowd. Two more girls walk over to me. One twisting her clearly unnatural blonde hair around her finger and the other wearing a sparkly dress and a cute smile. The blonde touches my arm lightly before slipping an unopened glass bottle into my hand. It was cold, it was beer. The other takes a step towards me and places her hand on my cheek. I roll my eyes before brushing her hand off. She stops and stares at me like I'm a waste of her time. Which I am. I got that look all the time so I was completely used to it."I would've just thrown you away tomorrow morning anyway," she snaps and looks over at the blonde, who glares at me too.
I shrug and twist the cap off the bottle,"thanks for the beer. Have a nice night." They roll their eyes and walk away. I take a swig of the liquid and sigh as I look around. There was nothing to do. I come here almost every single day and it's always the same. By now my vision was so blurry I couldn't make out the plethora of bodies dancing to the loud music. I couldn't necessarily hear the music too clearly either. No matter, I began dancing anyway. That was the only moment I blended in with all the other people in this place. The only different being they were here to have fun, I was here to drown everything in alcohol. I gulped down the last few drops of liquid I could get out of the bottle and decided to walk back to the bar and get another. I knew it wasn't a good idea, I couldn't even stand. I started walking back to the bar, running into everyone. Shoving people out of the way with my zombie-like expression.
"Hey idiot! Get your hands off my girl!" A tall man grabs the front of my shirt and I blink, trying to focus on his face. He has black hair that falls over his eyes, his lips pressed together in a straight line. I didn't care that I may have accidentally touched his girlfriend in places I didn't want to have anything to do with. I had no interest. I glance over at her, her eyebrows scrunched together. She looked like a pig anyway, even if I was into girls, I definitely wouldn't be into girls that looked like her. I grab his wrist and pull it off of the fabric of my black shirt. He shoves me away and I roll my eyes as I stumble back to the tall counter. I find an empty stool and sit down, it was a different bar tender this time. I think, I couldn't tell the difference anymore.
"What do you want.. Sir," she said, looking me up and down. Definitely more professional, or maybe that was her way of flirting. Not too flattering if I do say so myself. I was too lazy to speak, it wouldn't make sense even if I tried. I simply lifted my hand to point to the beer bottles stacked on the shelves in the corner. She shoots me a weird look before nodding and walking away to fetch the drink. I sigh loudly and glance towards the entrance. A group of people walk into the building, let in by the tall security guards at the front doors. I rub my eyes and blink a few times before shaking my head because I actually wanted to see their faces this time. Three girls walk in, talking and laughing and pointing. Two other guys accompany them, one with light brown hair and eyes that seemed to be the size of dinner plates, the other wearing a smile and talking to the girls. I feel a tap on my arm and look back to see the bar tender holding the bottle out towards me.
"Thanks," I say quietly and she smiles and walks away. I open it and look back at the group of people. One of the men stops and steps to the side, revealing a much shorter one of his friends. I lift the bottle to my lips and stop as my eyes focus on him more. I set the glass bottle down on the counter and squint. His eyes were wide, he was definitely nervous. His arms were behind his back and he avoided his friends gaze. They laughed and pushed him forward. His eyes were beautiful. He had brown hair and wore a black shirt, similar to mine. I took a sip of the beer and frown before looking at the label on the bottle,"this isn't the one I wanted." I groan and shrug before looking back at the small group. They pull the smaller one towards the dance floor. He was cute. He was vulnerable. I took another drink and got off the stool. Maybe tonight wouldn't be as boring as I thought.
