It Takes Time

Prologue

I sat there staring at him as he spoke those four words to me; "I'm moving to Florida."

Annie and James were the best of friends since since three year old preschool. They did everything together. They we in the same friend group all through elementary, intermediate, and middle school. In the eighth grade, they developed feelings for each other, but neither of them were willing to act on it. Freshman year comes, and James announces that he will be moving to Florida at the end of the year to help with sick grandma. Years past and they slowly stop keeping in touch with one another. What happens when James moves back for their senior year of high school? Will they reconnect instantly, or will there be hurt feelings?
