The Hale's Fire:
They were a happy family. All of them. Derek was out with Laura and Peter was on his way to the house. Kate Argent got some dumb idea it would be good to disobey the agreement that the Hales had made with the Argents. She used mountain ash and circled the house.

Proventing the Hales from leaving. The screamed for mersy but Kate wouldn't have it. She had help to set the house a blaze before Peter could get there. And Laura didn't know nor Derek. The poor boy, Derek was only 17 when it went to Shit.

Peter tried to get there in time. He could hear the screams, smell the smoke. But by the time he got there it was too late. Kate was gone and the Hales were all dead. Peter fell to his knees and howled as loud as he could. Laura heard his howl, took Derek and they rushed to the seen.

By the time they got there the fireman and police were there. They had removed the bodys and put out what was left of the fire. Derek cried for about a week with Laura but soon stopped and only Laura would cry. Alone. Derek lost his family and Paige in the same year. His feelings died with them.
