Sidney's POV:
I can't believe that Kate has so many ribbons and trophies. She is so successful with her horses, and at a such a young age. She is only 20. We are the same age, well I could say that we are both successful with sports. Me with hockey, and Kate with her horses and hockey. I turn around to see Kate walk out of the bathroom. She is wearing her Penguins sweatshirt and sweatpants. She had her number embroidered on both the arms of her sweatshirt. She looks so beautiful. Her long dirty blond hair, her dark brown eyes melt me every time I look at her. I can't take my eyes off her. "Sid's in love." Max laughs.
"He loves Kate." Jordan says.
"He can't take his eyes off of her." laughed James.
"Oh, sorry." I say as I blush. I walk over to Kate and wrap my arms around her. Max, Jordan and James leave. "I love you Kate."
"I love you too Sid." she says with a smile. I lean in and brush my lips against hers. The kiss is sweet, and her lips are so soft. I pull back and she kisses back. This time she deepens the kiss and our lips move in perfect sync.
Kate's POV:
I deepen the kiss and Sid pulls me in close. I pull away to catch my breath. "Sid, we have to get going. Practice is starting soon." I say as I pull away from him. I take his hand and walk out of the room. Jordan, Max and James are waiting in the living room.
"Aw, look the love birds are ready for practice." Max says as he winks at me. I blush and walk into the kitchen to get some food.
"Hey, does anyone want anything to eat? I have apples, pears, bananas, peaches, grapes, watermelon, star fruit, grapefruit, pomegranates, and bread."
"I will have a apple." Max says.
"Can I please have a slice of watermelon?" James says.
"Can I have a pear?" Sid asks.
"Sure." I say as I hand them the food.
"Thanks!" they say at the same time. I grab a pear and head out to my car. I throw my gear into he back and I jump into the drivers seat. Max, Sid, James and Jordan get in as well. I turn on the car and head to the arena. I flip through the radio stations and Cruise by Florida Georgia Line comes on.
"OMG! I LOVE THIS SONG!" I scream as I blast the radio. "Baby you a song, You make me wanna roll my windows down and cruise. Down a back road blowin' stop signs through the middle, Every little farm town with you. In this brand new Chevy with a lift kit, Would look a hell of a lot better with you up in it. So baby you a song you make me wanna roll my windows down and cruise." I sing and the guys laugh at me. "What? Its a country thing. Something you city folk wouldn't understand." I say as I chuckle. The guys gust laugh at my reply. The next song that comes on is Run This Town by Jay-Z. I keep the radio volume the same as I sang along. Max joins me and we sing the entire song. He sing the slower parts and I sing the faster parts sang by Jay-Z. When the song is over I pull into the arena parking lot. We get out and head inside. I start to get ready. I run to the bathroom and change into my sports bra. I head back out and everyone stares at me. "What?" I ask.
"Hot pink....nice choice of color Kate." Jordan says as he laughs. I look down and notice that they could see my bra through my white shirt.
"Oh." I say as I start to laugh. I put my gear on an put my practice jersey on. I put on my skates, grab my stick and head out to the ice. I am the first one on the ice so I stretch and take some shots on goal. I try a lot of trick shots and that's when coach comes out. I never noticed him until he scared me.
"I see you are good with stick handling." Coach says as he skates over to me.
"Yeah. For a long time I could not even shoot the puck, but I would practice for hours at a time. " I say with a smile.
"I like to hear that." he says as he smiles. I smile back and continue shooting. Malkin skates over and takes me by surprise. He takes the puck from me.
"One on One!" He says.
"You're on!" I say as I skate after him. I chase him down the rink. I take the puck from him and skate back down the ice. I shoot and score. Malkin stands there in disbelief. I skate past him and wink at him and he smiles.
"Ok, practice is starting. Everyone with you're line!" coach yells and I skate over to Sid, Geno, James, and Max. I stand next to James and Max. "In this drill you have to use you're stick handling skills to navigate through the course that is set up and you will be timed. The team with the best time wins." Jordan's line is up first. They had really good stick handling skills but they has a time of 4:89. Next was our turn. Sid takes the puck first. He has to skate between cones and he did it in 20 seconds. He passed it to Geno and he had to skate around a stick that was laying on the ice. He finished in 30 seconds. He gave to Max who had to skate down the ice and back three times. It only took him 60 seconds. Than he gave it to James who had to use hand and eye coronation to throw the puck in the air and catch it. It took him at least minutes to do, than it was my turn. I had to handle the puck under and over a stick set on two cones. I went under than over at least five times before I hand to skate down the ice and do a trick shot against Flower. Every stride I got faster and faster. Right in front of him I faked left, went right and did a back hander into the very top of the goal. My time was 1:30. Our line was in first after that and we finished first. Out of no where I had this pain shoot down my right arm. I fall to the ice in pain and everyone skates over to me.
"Kate, what's wrong?" Sidney asks.
"M.....m.....my......arm....." I say as tears for in my eyes. I look up and see the figure from my dream standing with something in his hand. I couldn't make out what it was. "He.......found.......me!" I say as I point to the figure. Everyone turns around and than back to me.
"Call 911." coach says. I could tell that the figure man was smiling. James comes and sits next to me.
"Her arm is bleeding." he says as he try's to comfort me. "Don't worry Kate, the ambulance is on the way." The last thing I remember is seeing James and the rest of the team surround me, than I black out.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
