Dean's POV:
Dean didn't know what he was doing. He wanted to stop, but he couldn't. He saw the look in Cas's eye when he was with Ruby. The terrible pain, the sparkle in his beautiful blue eyes, gone. That was part of the reason he was doing it. Dean felt anger when Cas wouldn't give him the love he wanted, he needed. It made him feel as if Cas didn't like him.
"What you thinking about?" Someone says, sitting next to Dean. He looks up to see Meg.
"What do you want?"
"Dean what are you doing?" Meg asks softly.
"What do you mean 'what am I doing?!'" Dean says a little too harsh. It doesn't faze Meg, she is used to it and she'll just bite back harder.
"You can't hurt my little Clarence like that Dean!"
"Why is everyone on his side!"
"No one knows why you're acting like this, not even him. Stop being immature and go talk to him like a big boy!" Now Meg was yelling in his face. This surprised Dean. Meg was usually calm, her voice always monotonous; like Cas's. Dean softens at the thought of Cas.
"Lunch is next. I'll leave you two to talk then." And then Meg is turning away, leaving Dean to think of what she said. Meg doesn't talk to Dean for the rest of the period.
Cas's POV:
The bell is finally ringing for lunch. Cas had to listen to Ruby, loudly explaining to her friends how string Dean's arms were or how good of a kisser he was. Cas knew that she saying this stuff in purpose because Cas could hear. And to tell the truth it was working. Dean was Cas's first. He got him first. First when he walked in the class. First when he talked to him first. First when he kissed him on the rock for the first time and first when he alsmost lost his virginity at Charlie's house. First to turn him down like that. That's why Cas quickly gets up and leaves to the cafeteria making sure to not have Ruby see the look on his face. It didn't want to have to give her another black eye next to the one Charlie gave her. As he heads to the cafeteria he thinks how happy he was at least one friend was there for him today. She even got out of class with Dean and can tell him what he said. The only thing is she never comes and the person he does see is Dean, coming towards him. Cas is about to get up and walk away but Dean is already at the table.
"Cas, wait, we need to talk." He rest his hand on Cas's and Cas pulls his hand away.
"What is there to talk about Dean?" Cas hisses his name. He doesn't say it the way he usually does with love. That isn't there right now. His voice wasn't the normal calm. It was full of anger with a hint of disparity.
"Cas! I'm so sorry. I know there is probably no excuse for how I acted but at least let me explain."
"Then explain Dean."
"When you rejected me I thought you didn't care for me. All my life, I admit, all I needed was love. And Cas, you are my happiness. You and Sam."
"You have to know Dean what you did really hurt me."
"I know Cas. I know I don't deserve to be for-"
"I forgive you." Cas cuts Dean off.
"You what?" Dean asks surprised.
"I forgive you." Cas says again. Dean stands up, a huge smile on his face.
"He forgives me, Cas forgives me!" Dean yells, everyone looking at them.
"Dean sit down. Shh be quiet. Everyone is staring at us." Cas puts his hand on Dean's arm laughing.
"No, no," Dean gets on the table. "Castiel Novak will you be my boyfriend?" Cas looks up at Dean, blushing. He only has one answer in his head.
"Yes!" Everyone cheers, Meg especially loud. In between the cheers you can hear one screetch and that person is coming towards them.
"Dean Winchester! You already asked me out on a date!" Ruby screetche even louder.
"Yeah I was only using you to make Cas jealous. That was a mistake."
"Fine be a loser with Castiel. No one even likes him! I mean look at him. He's obsessed with that trench coat, I bet it never gets washed. He wears nerdy glasses, and he's an out cast." Cas had to admit that hurt a little. But he couldn't let Ruby faze him, she was just a jealous bitch anyway.
"That's not true. That trench coat and glasses looks cute on him. And I like him, I more than like him." Dean says looking Cas deep in the eye, getting lost in then for a second.
"So do I! I even had a little crush on him before I found out he was gay." Meg steps in. This makes Cas laugh a little. "And so does Charlie!"
"My brother Sam does and so does his brother Gabe!" Dean tells Ruby. "You really are a bitch though." Dean looks at Ruby for a minute and then just laughs.
"And having all of them is enough." Cas looks back into Dean's eyes, shining an emerald green. Getting lost in his eyes, Cas feels Dean pull his trench coat in and then they were kissing in front of everyone. It was the most magical kiss becacuse Cas knew Dean meant it.
