"quit poking my side" i groan while smacking Chayce's finger away from me.

"well get out of bed. Its Christmas and we've got to get ready to go see your mom. Plus, you reak of alcohol. You dont want to go see your mom smelling like booze do you?" he says

I roll over with my eyes wide, i forgot it was Christmas! How could i forget?! Not only did i forget what day it was, but im going to be hungover all morning as well. Great.

Chayce left out of my room to go wake Mary up as well. The three of us had a little party for ourselves last night. We had music, video games, junk food, alcohol, and each other. Thats all we needed to have a good time.
I grab me some clothes from my closet and i walk past my door glancing over into the living room, as im on my way to the bathroom to shower off and i see Chayce bouncing on top Mary as she sleeps on the couch. "what a way to wake someone" i think to myself.

After showering, i walk into my living area to find Mary and Chayce both fully dressed and ready to go. "you guys clean up nice" i say grinning at them.
We were all going to go see my family this morning since both of their parents were coming later on to see them. They might as well had been a part of my family considering that ive known them since we were kids.

I finish combing my hair and then im ready to go. I had on a red sweater, my black skinny jeans with rips in the knees, and my black leather boots. As i looked at Mary and Chayce i realized that we all basically had the same style going for today - sweaters and boots.
We took my car over to my parents, who lived nearly an hour away. Chayce brought along his Oasis CD, 'Definitely Maybe' for us to listen to while on the drive over. We all sung along to nearly every word. It was so much fun with them two, they were the best friends i could've ever asked for.

When we arrived at my parents house, most of my family was already there. My mom and sister greeted us at the door, hugging and kissing us all as we came into the doorway. We settled in quickly, got a bit to eat and then my mom asked Mary to go grab some board games from the hallway closet. Mary entered back in the room with a chess board, "now who's ready to try and beat me?" she teased. She was great at chess, but i on the other hand couldn't stand it.
My sisters boyfriend, Toby, was the first to jump up and offer to beat Mary. He claimed to be the 'King of Chess'. "Ooh boy, i gotta see this! You're both a bunch of nerds going at it!" Chayce shouted from the kitchen. Everyone one laughed and gathered around to watch the two of them.
At the end of the match, Toby ended up beating Mary out at chess. "I want a rematch" she says, "be ready for it next time i see you."

"hey guys, lets open presents!" my mom says over everyone talking in the living room. We all turned and she called Mary and Chayce over to help pass out the gifts.
While they are busy, i run out to my car to grab their gifts. I come back holding the presents and wait for them to finish passing out the others.

I walk over to Chayce and i hand him his gift, then over to Mary. They both shake their gifts trying to figure out what they could be. "open them!" i say laughing.
Mary opens hers first and a huge grin grows across her face. I got her a bracelet that she could put charms on, she had been asking for one for as long as i could could remember. "Thank you so much, Marie! I absolutely love it!" she says excitedly. I wink at her and she puts it on immediately. We both then turn our attention to watch Chayce as he's just starting to tear his paper from his present.
"ahhh, no fucking way!?" he says excitedly while ripping the rest of the paper away from his Oasis T-shirt. "ahh, fucking yes way!" i joked back.
"thank you so much!" he says.
It was nice to get them both something that they really wanted. After all, they have been putting up with a lot of stuff going on with me, so they deserved it.

"now its your turn" Mary says. I look at her a bit confused for a moment trying to figure out what she's on about, but she just smiles at me. I hadnt asked for anything. Mary hands me a bag from behind her with a little note attached:
