"You know what, Ailsa."
"Yes?"
"I'd like to take you on a trip somewhere, certain places that only we know. I'd like to show you magnificent sceneries. I want you to see the beautiful things, mainly the ones you can't see in yourself. I'd keep you up all night to tell me your 2 am thoughts, your darkest fear, your sorrow and your sadness. I'd listen to you like my favorite radio channel. I'd tug you into warmth that you could forget what cold feels like. I'd stare at you like you're made from the same materials they found on the inner core of the stars. I'd like to blanket the world in utter darkness; just to reveal the blinding crescendo of galaxies. And I'd like for you to know, you're the lost star I need to complete my constellation."
She couldn't do anything but stare. A small smirk peeked from her lips. She inhaled her breath, while taking his hands into her, guiding it to her jaw. She rests her face into his palms. And oh how good it feels having someone to rely on.
"If only I met you earlier," she hushed in a sigh.
"It's not a matter of time. Love is not about multitudes and period. It is inordinate, and I have never been more grateful to get the chance to meet you. I don't mind we're stuck in the wrong time, for you, I promise, Ailsa. I'm going to make it right."
"I love you, I-I don't know what to say. I love you, Yuma, I swear I love you."
Yuma moved his palm to her cheeks. He stared at her deeply, like he was going to find a treasure inside her eyes. He leaned in closer, so close that he can hear the breath of his loved one, so close that she can feel his heartbeat. Ailsa closed her eyes, it's been so long since she felt something so intense. Yuma started to shove the distance between them, leaving them lip-locking, so deep and passionate. Yuma clearly wants her, she was like his childhood dreams he couldn't forget. And yet he feels so right yet so wrong, kissing someone who is supposed to be in someone else's arms. He gave her his heart, without any doubt, and he wouldn't care if she'd break it later on. He would think it was a privilege having his heart scattered in a matter of second. He would do anything, anything.
"Promise me not to let me go?" Ailsa shrugged, breaking the kiss.
"I'd even promise you the world itself"
She watched him in awe, and leaned her head in his chest. She feels like coming home every time she's held a hostage in his arms. His scent was like her hometown's atmosphere, and his eyes, she could've sworn they looked just the right shade of the night sky.
