A seven year old roamed the town in search of a warm place to sit down and rest or some miracle like act of kindness. Stares followed her where ever she went, their attraction wasn't drawn as much to the girls blue hair and blood red eyes. They didn't noticed the dark bags under those beautiful irises either, and the dry tears that still lingered just underneath. This sign would tell anyone she had just become a 'stray'. Well if said person's knew what she was. For now the proper term used was orphan.

Instead their glares were set on the girls torn and dirtied hoodie, and shorts - well they use to be jeans - and lack of shoes.

Everyone avoided her like the plague.

If it wasn't for this hoodie they'd think I have fleas.

She thought to herself and chuckled under her breath.

The people around her didn't know her story, and she planned to keep it that way. A memory of what happened just an hour ago flashed through her mind, and she hoped she had successfully lost those hunters. An aching sensation tugged down on her legs and she finally collapsed. Luckily she had reached a park bench just in time, proving she was more worn down then the clothing on her body.

Suddenly glares that were set upon her turned from wonder and confusion into disgust. In short everyone around her looked at her like she was a freak, meaning one thing.

She quickly reached behind her and searched around for her hoodie in the unknown space, when she found it she quickly pulled it over her head again. She was about to get up again but her legs refused her wishes and instead her mind - with a lack of stuff to do - wanted to lure her into to sleep.

Despite her embarrassment she was ready to listen and rest on the park bench, tattered red hoodie and all. Yet something told her not to, an unknown entity told her to just stay up a little bit longer.

"Woah bro did you see that girl she had ears," a little boys voice chimed over the rest of the remaining towns people. It was almost midnight and this boy made it seem like day to her, like a good morning call I guess, though she wasn't sure if he was good yet.

"Yes Dante everyone has ears its not a freak of nature thing," said to the young boy, he was taller and older, they looked nothing like brothers since they looked nothing alike, but they surely acted like it.

"But does everyone have ears on the top of their heads, ha, no they don't, Gene," the small boy, Dante, retorted with an overdone victory laugh.

"Wait where, you saw a werewolf," his brother said doing a 360° look around enough times to make him dizzy, yet the older male was unfazed.

"Over by that bench, the on in the red, she looks sad," Dante said with a worrisome tone.

The girl was looking down to make sure they didn't see her, but true fully it wasn't like she hadn't been sad since.....

The next thing she knew she was taken out of her reminisces and was face to face with the younger dark blue haired boy see ease dropped on.
Though true fully is it bad if ally their the one talking behind her back.

"Hi my names Dante, wanna be friends," the boys eyes, which matched his hair, bore into her soul as if they were in search for an answer.

Generally like what happened when she looked at her own hair she was reminded of water and instead of answering the question and responding with her own name she started going into a furious coughing fit.

"Are you alright, what's wrong,"what confused her most was that he sounded genuinely worried. He was worried for a total stranger and much more a mutt he had just met and hadn't even had a conversation with yet.

"Here,"his brother came into view and handed her a bottle of water, she downed it quick. It was a relief to have the cool liquid running down her dry throat,"do you have a place to stay."

"Please...don't worry about me, your both so nice, I - I don't want to take advantage,"she said as letting streams of tears run down her face as her eyes fell to her knees. She'd never had someone be this nice to her besides her family, her pack,an instant flash of another red jacket flashed into her mind. She never see them all again, and after that it was all just downhill, because,"I'm cursed."

"Don't talk like that your not cursed," the older boy swept the tears from her eyes and arms knocked the wind out of her to hug, a few seconds later another pair joined in.

×Years later×

I still remember you Dante. I promise I'll find you, because I don't regret meeting you and I hope you feel the same likewise. You saved me and now its my time to do the same. To make sure you don't feel like you failed your village, you were always tried to fix everyone's problems.

You don't have to try anymore, cause you fixed the biggest problem the world made.

My life. You were the miracle I needed that day Dante.

Ha, here I am feeling mopey, looking down at a picture of us in my amulet as I sit under a weeping willow. I know, ironic much...I wish you were here to laugh with - ×snap× ah what was that!

Closer now another twig snap under pressure.

"Ahhhhhh,"someone - with the girliest scream - came rolling down the hill I was sitting next to and falls face down next to me.

" Laurence, seriously, you've got to be more careful, no telling what creatures are -...get away from him beast," another man with a bucket for a head slides cooly down the hill followed by a girl in purple.

"Oh hello there,"I replied cheerfully, staring directly into the man's eyes as he pointed his diamond sword at me, I can see blond tuffs behind his helmet.

"I don't really think she's a threat Garroth,"the brunette beside me say swiping dirt off his face.

"Shut up Laurence," Garroth, I guess, snapped back at him.

"Will you two stop fighting," a sweet, mellow voice, Aphmau, replied and puts down Garroth's sword. She seems the mediator of the group, I think this friendship will work out well, she seems easy to befriend.

"Nice to meet you all, I'm Kimchi, or Kim for short,"I replied with a chuckle at Garroth's sigh at the ravenetts easy trust.

"Nice to meet you cutie," 'Laurence' said scooting closer to me,"hey what's up with this hat."

He took off my hat, and that's when all reached hell. "You, you, you."

That day I chased him all the way to my new home, along with the package deal of great new memories and friends.
