We all headed over to the diner after all the commotion and sat at a booth. I still didn't know much about the guys, and I wanted to ask questions, but I don't want to annoy them, you know. My brothers were sitting on either side of me. Everybody was talking happily, going on about their business, except for me. I just sat there, bored. There was no one to talk to, because I wasn't friends with anybody sitting here.

"So, Angelica."I turned to Darry as he said my name. "Do you go to school?"

"Yes" I replied.

"What grade are you in?"

"I'm going to 11th" I replied. He smiled at that.

"Do you smoke?" I shook my head. "What else do you like to do, besides play football?"

"Well, I'm really into singing" I said.

"Really, do you want to be a professional singer when you grow up?" I nodded.

"But, I'm going to take over my dad's business, once I graduate from college" I explained.

"My sister is such a goody-two-shoes" Tony teased me. I smiled and elbowed him in the stomach. The guys laughed as he grabbed his stomach in pain.

"Yes, I'm young and innocent" I replied. He glared at me, before talking to Steve and Soda. And, like before, everybody was talking to someone, except for me. Then, I saw my friend Catherine walk in with Randy. Yes, finally, a friend I can talk to.

"Tony, move, I wanna get out" I said. He stood up and let me get out. I walked over to Catherine. "Cat, hey." She turned to me and smiled.

"Angel" she squealed, pulling me into a hug. "I heard about the crash, I'm glad you're okay!" I hugged her right back.

"Yea, nothig too serious happened" I replied. We pulled away and she looked at me.

"How's your dad doing?" I shrugged.

"Okay, I guess" I responded. She game me a sad smile.

"Are you here alone?" I shook my head.

"I'm with my brothers and their gang" I replied, pointing back at them. She looked at the guys and just stared at them for sometime. "Uh, Cat?"

"Yea?" She didn't turn away from them.

"Are you okay?" That's when she turned to me.

"Why are you hanging out with those grease balls?" Randy has always hated them, no matter what. I sighed.

"Not all of them are" I replied. He took a step closer to me.

"If you know what's good for you, better say goodbye to them bums" he said, anger lingering in his voice. This surprised me. I can't believe he would say something like that... to ME. Even though he's always looked out for me, and we were FRIENDS for crying out loud, yet, he says that to me.

"You can't tell me what to do" I replied.

"You don't even know what you're doing" he said.

"Of course I know what I'm doing" I responded, then dropped my voice a bit. "Randy, I know you're just doing what you think is right."

"But?"

"But you can't always be right, you'll always be my friend, and you can't choose who I hang out with" I said. He grabbed my arm quite harshly, gripping it tightly.

"You don't know Bob, he will jump them if he gets the chance" he responded. Cat pulled Randy back, while I ripped my arm out of his hand.

"Randy, stop it!" But what he said, scared me. I don't want them to get jumped. And, by how much Tony and Austin told me about them all, I know someone might end up dead. That's the last thing I want. Randy looked me dead in eyes, when he said what he said next.
