My first three classes went by uneventfully. It's pathetic because it was six days into the new spring semester and I couldn't remember who was in my classes. Then I remembered I missed the first six days because I didn't feel like coming.  So I was somewhat surprised when I walked into my fourth hour class and saw my brother and Ian. Sighing, I looked at where I was to sit on the assigned seating chart and walked there. Great. It was between Ian and Eric. I wish the teacher hadn't done that. I wish I wasn't in the middle. That would mean not only could both harass me at any time during this class, but they'd have to talk around me when they wanted to talk to one another.

Some girl was talking to Eric and twirling her hair. Pathetic. Ian started smiling when I walked my way towards them. I basically threw my backpack on the table and pulled the chair out. I sat down and wanted to punch myself in the face. The girl glared at me because it made Eric glance at me and lip 'behave.' I shook my head and pulled out my cellphone, already done with this class.

"Well, well, well, look who we have here," Mr. Larson smiled after the bell rang. Keep your head down, don't draw attention to yourself, I thought. "Ms. Alwin! It's great to see you in class!" Everyone turned to look at me. My head snapped up and made eye contact with the asshole of a teacher. A few of the students snickered. They thought it was funny because I didn't come to class?

"Wow, that's funny, because it's not so great to see you," I dryly said. He started glaring at me. Dammit, I didn't think I said it that loud. I thought I had merely muttered it!

"Well get use to seeing me, Ms. Alwin because you'll be seeing me after school. In detention!" He smiled. I rolled my eyes and grabbed a banana out of my bag. Thankfully the students turned around and listened to whatever Mr. Larson was blabbing about as he faced the board. Smiling, I looked at Ian. His eyes shifted to mine, and seemed to brighten.

I unpeeled the banana and slide some of it into my mouth, not biting it, and pulling it back out. I started to do that; suck the banana as I brought it in and out of my mouth. Looking just like a blow job. Ian squinted and smiled at me.

"Stop, that's oh-so-distracting, Em," he murmured and glared at me. I ignored him. I continued doing it. I knew he'd freak out any minute.

"Stop fucking teasing me with that! Dammit!" Ian yelled. I stopped what I was doing and looked at him innocently, as if I didn't cause his little break out. I faced the front and saw Mr. Larson glaring at Ian. Ian was too busy glaring at me to even notice.

"Mr. Woods, looks like you'll be joining Ms. Alwin in detention after school today!" Mr. Larson snapped before he turned back around to continue on with the lesson. I smiled to myself. Larson brought the focus back on himself after calling Ian out.

"Sorry, I just thought it would be easier to tutor you in a school setting," I whispered to Ian, winking at him. He automatically smiled. I don't think he could ever be mad at me. Ever since we were kids we were close. He hadn't ever been mean to me and I highly doubted he'd start to now. However, I was surprised when everyone was under the impression that I liked him. Not that he wasn't cute-

"Ms. Alwin, the counselor would like to see you in her office," Mr. Larson said, pulling me out of my thoughts. I groaned and grabbed my shit. Ian gave me a thumbs up, and Eric looked worried. It was most likely in regards to my attendance and Eric was nervous I'd be expelled from this school. If that happened, I'd be screwed and would get in trouble with our case worker since we were both emancipated minors. I walked to the front of the class and left, mentally flicking Mr. Larson off. I made my way to the office in a matter of minutes. I signed myself in and sat down on the uncomfortable chair.
