I felt something wet touch my nose. I swatted at it but only hit air. I let my hand fall to my side as I turned over to my side and sighed trying to go back to sleep. I felt something on my lips and I quickly opened my eyes staring into a pair of deep set of emerald green eyes. My eyes widened as I looked at my best friend Cory. I realized his lips were against mine and I pushed him off of me and off of the bed.

"Woah!" He said shocked as he fell onto the floor face first. I giggled at his expression when he fell and got up off of the bed to help him up. He scowled at me but climbed into my bed and lied down next to where I was sitting, "What the hell was that for?!". I rolled my eyes.

"You kissed me!" I said wiping my hand across my mouth disgusted, "And you licked my nose, that's gross!" Cory gave me a 'so what' look.

"It's not like it's your first kiss Abby" Cory said rolling his eyes at me and grinning, "Plus, I needed something to wake you up.

"You couldn't try water like a normal person?" I asked him rolling my eyes. He sent me a glare.

"I thought we had already established that I'm not a normal person. I am fabulous" He said fluttering his eyelashes, "And do you want to be late for the first day of school?". He raised an eyebrow as he said that and I looked over at the clock on the table near my bed. It read 7:15.

"Crap!" I said throwing an amused Cory off of me. He landed with an "Ouch!" on the floor face first yet again. I had 15 minutes to take a shower, get dressed, and do my hair. I grabbed some clothes from my dresser, my dark blue towel and headed into the bathroom where I turned the shower on and stripped. I jumped inside the shower and put on my coconut shampoo and conditioner, rinsed, and got out of the shower drying myself with my towel. I put on my Thor shirt, and skinny jeans on and opened the door to the bathroom only to find myself face to face with a smirking Cory.

"You" He said grinning, "Have a very nice body". My mouth dropped open in shock. That pervert! I punched him in the face and pushed him away from me.

"You perv!" I said angrily crossing my arms across my chest.

"Jesus Abby! I was only joking!"Cory said rubbing his cheek where I punched him and winced, "That's gonna leave a mark". I felt guilty instantly. I swear, sometimes I think I am bipolar.

"Sorry Cory" I said looking at him. His expression softened and he hugged me and groaned.

"Don't make that face" He said groaning, "Or else I can't stay mad at you". I looked at him confused.

"What face?"

"Never mind"

"You ready to go?" I asked as I looked at the clock putting on my socks and sneakers. Only 5 minutes left to get to school or else we'd be late.

"Sure" He said shrugging and looking at my head, "If you want your hair to look like a rat's nest that's fine with me". I groaned. I forgot to brush my hair. I grabbed my comb from the top of my dresser and quickly ran it through my hair untangling it. I didn't have enough time to do anything to it so I just left it down. I rushed downstairs grabbing a granola bar on the way out the door and hopping into Cory's truck. Cory got in a second later and started his truck, backing out of my driveway. I opened my granola bar and went to go take a bite out of it when it was snatched out of my hands. I looked at Cory.

"Hey!" I yelled as he took a bite out of my granola bar, "Go get your own damn granola bar! That's mine!". He rolled his eyes and took another bite.
