It's kind of funny how I used to love humans, I even created a fan club where I met one of my dearest friends.
Now here I am, watching this watching this digcusting creature murder innocent monsters.
I set up a bunch of camera's to watch any human that comes down here, but now I'm regretting that decision.
At least with these camera's everyone knows that there's a physcopath on the loose, but sitting here watching people I've seen before, knowing that one day one of my friends or someone in my family could be on the screen one day, that is what scares me.

The human has killed Papyrus, Undyne's best friend.
I didn't know Papyrus that well but he was the kind of person everyone wanted to be friends with... he was so nice. I don't have the heart to tell Undyne that I watched him die
And I didn't do anything to help.
I'm so worthless, I'm sorry Undyne.

After Papyrus died Sans just left, no one knows what happened to him, I can't even find him on my cameras! I hope he's ok..

I leave my secret lab and lazily walk to the fridge and pull out some instant noodles.
Even when there's a murderer on the loose, I'm still here. Eating instant noodles and watching anime. Good job Alyphs. Good job.

My thoughts get interrupted when I hear a knock on my door, startled I quickly throw out my now empty noodle container and go to answer the door.
"U-um hello? W-who is it" I mumble nervously my hand hovering over the doorknob.
"Oh hey Alphys! Its Undyne" I hear a familiar voice say
I'm still in my pjs but oh well, I unlock the door anyways "Hi Undyne.. C-come in" I say opening the door
"Oh thanks.." She replies
There was a awkward silence, thankfully it was broken after a couple of seconds.
"You know that today is the day that I'm going to defeat the human.. Right?"
"i-i didn't know that.." I say full of grief.
"Y-you know that you don't have to f-fight them right? N-no one would get mad at you, I don't I...uh I mean we don't wanna see you get hurt. I don't wanna see another innocent person die. Just-
"No one is gonna die. And I will make sure of that" Undyne smiles full of fake confidence.
"B-but t-theres still a high chance you could! The human is much stronger than they look! Their LV is higher than anyone else an-" I get cut off again
"Alphys listen. I won't get hurt, I promise. Don't worry about me okay?"
"Okay" Alyphs says, fresh tears starting to form on the corners of her eyes
"Now I need you to do a favor for me.. Just in case something bad does happen, promise you'll evacuate everyone?"
There are tears streaming down my face now
"I promise"

And just as Alphys thought, that promise was shattered. Just like her heart.
