chapter five: their name

It was soon lunch and I was at the cafeteria waiting for Dylan to show up. I looked around and saw a guy with ruffled hair and that can only one person.

I walked over, "Hey Dylan," I mumbled.

"Hey there," he replied with the smirked I last saw him with. I looked around the cafeteria, many of the students here look really familiar, but I can't remember where I've seen them at all.

"So... Are your friends coming soon? Not to sound impatient or anything like that," I asked.

"Yeap, you'll see them in a bit. I think you'll like them very much," he said with a sly grin. So far, I've only seen him smirk and grin, wow, so much for first impression.

"Hey Dylan!" A voice called out. Both Dylan and I turned around and saw an Asian student running towards us. His hair was gelled up and was wearing a sports shirt and jeans.

"Hey Ki Hong," he simply replied with a smile. Finally, a smile. He looked really familiar. Especially when both of them were together, they seemed that I've seen them paired up together before. I was tapping my chin before Dylan casually introduced me to Ki Hong, "Hey Zoella, meet Ki Hong. Ki Hong, meet Zoella."

I waved shyly at him, "Hello."

Ki Hong put his arm around my shoulder, "Heyo, Dylan messaged me saying that you're new." He talked as if we were old friends meeting again. He cleared his throat and raised his arms before raising his voice a little, " WELCOME TO LAKEWOOD COLLEGE MISS ZOELLA!"

I have to admit, I was taken aback by that. I jumped backwards with my hand on my chest. "Gosh, you gave me a fright," I muttered under my breath. I saw a few students staring blankly at us.

"Sorry yeah, got a little too excited," he rubbed the back of his neck. The students then continued eating and talking again.

"Is he your only friend that you hang out with?" I asked.

Dylan opened his mouth to answer but Ki Hong answered before anything could come out of his mouth, "Of course not! I don't think he'll be very happy to hang out with only me 24 hours per day, 5 days a week, or maybe 7, throughout the whole year." Ki Hong then glanced at Dylan which only got a eye roll in return.

"We're waiting for two more people," Dylan continued. "We should go sit down before all the tables are taken."

We walked over and sat down, well Ki Hong hopped onto the seat like he rehearsed it a million times which he probably did.

Dylan looked around and saw someone, he raised his hand to signal that he was there and the student probably walked over too. Then, I saw him. A tall guy, dirty blonde bangs, blue polo shirt, jeans. His hands were in his pockets. Their name immediately came into my mind.

The Ivy Trio.
