"Happy birthday Cindy!! I'm going to bring you somewhere really special so don't take out your blindfold ok?" Baekhyun smiled as he tighten the blindfold
"Aish... OKAY BUT HURRY MY EYES ARE STARTING TO HURT" Cindy yelled as she let out a small giggle. Slowly Baekhyun led her to his car and closed her door for her as he ran to the otherside of the car so that he can drive.
After ten minutes, they stopped at a small cafe decorated with balloons and streamers. Baekhyun stopped the car and quickly led Cindy in the cafe.
Finally at the entrance of the cafe Baekhyun opens her blindfold.
Cindy eyes turned wide as she turned around and wrapped her arms around Baekhyun's waist while letting tears of joy stream down her cheecks. Baekhyun wiped her tears with his thumb and smiled as he leaned down to her ears and whispered " do you remember? saeng-il chugha, jagi..." as he let out a small chuckle.
Just as they were both about to kiss, Cindy slipped out of Baekhyun's grip and fell on the floor. Bakehyun eyes turned wide when he saw blood on his hands. He looked up and saw one of his patient that escaped the hospital holding the gun " I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THE HOSPITAL" as the patient ran away.
Bakehyun wanted to chase him but instead he fell on the ground and cried while whispering " mianhae... i couldn't protect you"
After the funeral, Bakehyun slowly walked out as he dragged his feet while looking on the ground but before he could exit he felt a punch on his face as he fell on the ground. When he looked up it was Cindy's father who was crying but at the same time was angry. "YOU KILLED HER!!! YOU? A DOCTOR? HAH! IF YOU COULD SAVE YOUR PATIENTS WHY COULDN'T YOU SAVE HER?! JUST KILL YOUR PATIENTS FROM NOW ON THEN! KILL THEM! "
Baekhyun knelled down and sob while the blood on his lips dripped slowly.
15 years later,
Baekhyun was on his way to a vip patient as he strolled his way down the corridor while the other doctors rushed to the room. In the operating room he took his own time to wash his hands while the other doctors and nurses began operating and helping. After he was ready, he stood by lazily waiting for his turn to operate.
Once it was his turn he lazily got up and began operating but like he did to all his other patients, he purposely did something wrong without anyone knowing before giving the next doctor a turn. As he stood there watching the doctor struggle he smiled under his mask as he looked at the clock and slowly countdown in his mind
3...2...1 anddd kkeut ! thats the 100th patient dead.
He let out a small chuckle as he exited the operating room and went back to reading his book. Other doctors thinks that Baekhyun was the best doctor because he never failed on a patient before but then again they didn't knew that before the patient dies, he hands over the patient to someone else so they thought that the other doctor was the one at fault.
Baekhyun knew how many minutes or seconds before the patients dies after every single mistake that he has purposely done. The reason why Baekhyun kills his patients is because he still holds a big grudge to the patient who killed his girlfriend. So every patient he operates he will think of the patient holding the gun and start to get angry and purposely kill the patient without any regret. Baekhyun also kills his patient because he kept thinking of what his father in law.
Baekhyun snapped out of his thought when he received a message at his phone 'meet me outside the hospital...NOW' Baekhyun chuckled because he knew who it was and slowly rise up from his seat and went out.
When he was outside he lazily looked around to see where was Chanyeol, the person who messaged him. Just as he was about to go back in someone called him as he turned around he was pushed to the floor and repeatedly punched. He was expecting it already so he kept quiet and let Chanyeol punch him. Soon a crowd start to form and later the bodyguards start to pull Chanyeol away. Baekhyun stood up and wiped the blood at the side of his mouth and picked up his broken glasses and put it in his gown along with his hands in the pocket. He finally looked up when Chanyeol who was being dragged away kept shouting " YOU KILLED HER!!! HOW MANY MORE ARE YOU GONNA KILL HUH?!?!
Baekhyun did not say anything and instead went back to his office to rest as he was tired. He threw away his broken glasses and put his contect lens on. He sat down and turned his chair to look at the view outside the window. He knew his bestfriend was dissapointed in him then suddenly the image of Cindy lying on the floor bleeding popped up in his mind. He shook off that thought and continued reading at where he left off.
Chanyeol's driver open the door for him as he entered still angry. As the car start to move he kept thinking about what his bestfriend did. How could he kill his mother? Although Chanyeol knew that Baekhyun kills his patient because of his grudge but he could have at least let go of the grudge just once for him. After all the years of Chanyeol being there when he needed him and the times where he was the only one that could comfort Baekhyun. Suddenly Chanyeol clenched his fist and took out his cellphone from his coat. He started looking through his contacts and finally saw the one he was looking for. Without hesitation, he clicked the number and said "Yes father. I will do it.... for eomma..."
