Never Been Hurt (Cari) (Sequel to 'The Hate Factor.')

Chapter 2. The Death Threat.

Ariana's POV

My parents left around four, then I finished unpacking my stuff. Did I really have that much stuff? Gees, unpacking it all took quite a while!

Once I actually finished, I posted something on twitter.

@Ariana_Bolton: Back in England for two weeks of down time! Thank you New York City for being an awesome crowd! Xx

It felt nice to be home after four months on the road. Don't get me wrong, I loved touring a lot, but I also loved being home with my family. And to be in my own comfy bed. Because the ones on the bus aren't the most comfortable.

I got thousands of replies but one caught my eye.

@Cody_Mason: You still never got to tell me what you wanted to do these two weeks. ;) x

I replied back,

@Ariana_Bolton: I'll make up my mind tonight. :) xx

It'd probably take me three days to recover from the trip. But three days out of two weeks wasn't that much. While I was recovering, I texted Lauren to see how she was doing on her tour.

Me: Sup Lauren? How's tour goin?

Lauren: Hi Ari! Tour is going great! How about you?

Lauren is like my best friend. We instantly clicked when we were both on the X-factor. So yeah, we're best friends now. She is in a band called Fourth Cliche with three other girls.

Me: We just finished our last show yesterday in New York. It was awesome!

Lauren: That's great! We had our break last month, so yeah. How are you and Cody doing?

Me: Stronger then ever:)

Lauren: Aw, that's awesome! :)

I told this girl literally everything. We'd only known each other for almost a year now, but we were really close.

Me: Yeah. :) What about you and Ethan? Are you two meeting up sometime here in the next two weeks?

Lauren: It depends. We're in the U.S. right now actually, and every day this week we have a show. So I'm not sure if we'll be able to meet up...

Ethan has been sweet on this girl since day one of the X-factor and Lauren has always secretly liked him too. When the X-factor ended, Ethan asked Lauren three times if they could date, but she didn't want to do long distance. You know, just starting out like that. The fourth time she caved in and said yes.

They were perfect for each other, but Lauren really struggled with the whole long distance thing. Their schedules don't match up in the least and they barely see each other. But they tried.

Me: That's a shame... Not even next week? Your best friend wants to see you too. ;)

Lauren: Haha, oh Ari:P We're trying to work something out, even if it's just for a day. So maybe you'll see me.

Me: Yes, I haven't seen you in like four months! How are the girls doing too?

Lauren: they're all doing great! Ali is here with me now and she says hi.

Me: Hey Ali!

I decided to call, because I wanted to talk to Ali as well.

"Haha, I figured you would call Ari." Lauren chucked.

"I wanted to talk to you both since I heard that Als was there too." I added, then put my phone on speaker and went to find my laptop so I could check out twitter.

"So what's up Als?"

"Nothing new really, same old stuff."

"Same here. Hey, guess the two people that showed up at the show last night?" I asked them.

"Um." They thought for a moment.

"Niall and Demi!"

"Oh cool!" Ali exclaimed.

"Yeah, it was brief though. Niall had to get to the airport, but it was nice seeing them again."

"I bet."

Ali, Lauren and I talked for a while then they had to go. We said goodbye then I started browsing twitter. Every minute more replies were coming in from my post.

Yeah, I dealt with the occasional hate mail from decoders or CODE's fans. One I got today said,

'You're voice is done right AWFUL! You shouldn't be touring with such an amazing band like CODE.'

I was fine with the fact that some people didn't like my voice. It didn't really bother me. And I had super supportive fans to cheer me on.

Then there were the girls jealous of me dating Cody. They'd say whatever it took to tear me down and say I am using Cody for more fame, but I didn't care. I knew the truth, Cody did too. Sure, it gets old seeing it all after a while, but it doesn't make me upset or self conscious.

I cleared up the hate mail, then blocked some of the people who sent it. That's what Cody told me to do. Then a new tweet came in.

@Anonymous_: Hi @Ariana_Bolton! I just wanted to let you know that you are extraordinary! So much, that I wish you were dead!!!!! Cody deserves better!!!! Believe me, if I had a gang, you'd be gone in an instant that way no one would ever have to deal with you again. You don't know how much I'd love to lock you in a car and push it into a lake.

My heart started beating faster as I read this. I just received a death threat. Who ever this was really hated me. Like, really, really hated me. The words 'one day' scared the life out of me though. This person wanted to kill me, and said one day they would.

No, no Ari, this is probably just some jealous girl trying to make me feel bad. Don't fall for it, block and move on. I looked at this persons profile to see barely any info. No picture, name, nothing. I blocked them quickly. I couldn't move on though.

I hesitated whether to click on the hash tag or not. How many people were using it? I gave in and clicked to see the number of people using that hash tag. Twenty so far. As I refreshed, more and more began popping up.

Gosh Ari, you are letting jealous girls get to your head! Calm down! None of this will ever happen! So just stay calm and move on.

I am on a roll with posting!!!

July 9th is my big one year mark of being on wattpad! :D I'll probably post two chapters on that day. One chapter of Styles' Stylist then one chapter of this.

Tomorrow I'll post again.
