The other hybrid

My life

Ding dong the bell rang so I ran down as quickly as I could. Feeling disappointed my mum opened the door   and I saw a group of I'm guessing are vampires because of their extremely pale skin and their eyes.
"Mummy who are these people?" I asked my mum full of curiosity
"You didn't tell her? " one of them asked
"Honey these people are going to take care of you "
"Oh well I'm Millie" I shook hands with all of them
"I'm going to start packing then" I ran up to my room. I took the biggest bagpack I had and threw in some jeans and hoodies I took out my favorite books and threw them in as well. I put my phone in my pocket and lastly threw in my charger and iPad. I ran down again put on my coat, said goodbye to my mum and closed the door behind me. The drive to the airport was silent. No one really bothered to make a conversation with me but I didn't blame them. I was only young back then I think I was three or maybe four but I still remember that day very clearly. Even when we got to the Forks everything was completely silent . Except for when Edward came into my room saying: Are you ok?
"Yeah I'm ok" I replied
"I know that you're definitely not" he said
"How do you know ? Can you read minds or something? " I asked
"In fact I can."
"You can? So you can tell me what I'm thinking about now?"
"You're thinking about trees for some reason, do you know if you have a power ?" He asked
"I have got a power it is similar to yours but mine is controlling minds "
He stared at me .I could even see fear glistening in his eyes.
"Are you a hybrid ?" He asked
"Yes actually if you want I brought a book with me about hybrids I already know most things about hybrids anyway so it won't interest me " I handed him the book.
"Oh thanks"
As I got older I started to befriend him even more. He even taught me how to play the piano ! Everything was fine until I decided to apply to Cambridge and after a few weeks of waiting , they decided to take me in! I was over the moon ! I packed straight away as quick as lightning I put clothes,  books etc. when I was about to leave though Edward whispered into my ear: " good luck " and then the weirdest thing happened. He kissed me on the lips....
