Fun Times Theme Park ~ Julia Kirigiri's POV

I had searched one half of the park for ten minutes, and I still hadn't found the girl. A small sense of panic had begun to rise in my chest. I knew who we were dealing with, I knew that she wouldn't end up as a victim. But that didn't eliminate the possibility of her getting hurt. Perhaps she already was hurt.

"S-Someone get this kid away from me!"

"Come baaaaaaaack, mister!"

Upon hearing those two voices, I turned on my heels and saw a rather peculiar sight: an aqua haired young man was storming in my direction. He had eyes to match his hair and a black shirt under his long white lab coat. His arm was being pulled backwards by a young girl, whose curled pink hair was tied into two ponytails. Her eyes were yellow and she wore a pink dress under a black jacket. She wore long white socks with pink stripes and pink shoes on her feet.

"Griffin...?!" I gasped, recognising the boy. "What are you doing here...?!"

"I'm your assistant!" Griffin cried, waving his arms around madly. "It's my job to help you! More importantly, get this kid away from me! I'm no good with kids!"

I approached the small girl and recognised her as the child from the security camera footage Q told me about earlier. I bent down slightly. "May I ask for your name?" I asked her.

"Kotoko Minami!" She cried in response. "I'm an elementary school student!"

"Elementary school...?!" I gasped. "What are you doing here, then...?!"

"I was here with my big bro yesterday." Kotoko explained. "But we got separated, so I had to spend the night here."

"What?!" Griffin gasped. "You SPENT THE NIGHT here?!"

I sighed and reached for my earpiece. "We found the girl." I told Q. "Apparently, she was here with her older brother, but eventually got separated from him, so she was stuck here all night."

"Hmmm... An older brother...." Q repeated. "Could you maybe ask her what he looks like? I'm trying to find him on the camera footage, but so far I'm having no luck."

"Got it." I nodded before turning back to Kotoko. "Could you perhaps tell me more about your brother? His appearance, things like that?"

"Okay!" Kotoko nodded. "His name's Kitoka! He has real spiky dark blue hair with the same yellow eyes as me! He wears an aqua jacket over a black top and jeans with blue tennis shoes!"

"Did you catch all that, Q?" I asked. By the even more clicking and tapping I heard come from the other end, he must have heard what Kotoko had said. "Hmm..." he murmured.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I can't find anyone of that description." Q responded. "It might be worth looking for him, not only to make sure the girl has someone to look after her, but also to find out if he saw anything and where he's been all this time."

"Alright." I agreed. "Come on, Kotoko. We're going to find your brother."

"Yaaaaaaay!" Kotoko cheered. She took hold of one of my hands and one of Griffin's before pulling us away, chanting 'big bro' repeatedly. I exchanged a confused glance with Griffin: this was going to take a while.

Fun Times Theme Park - Ferris Wheel

Kotoko gasped and ran ahead all of a sudden, dropping our hands like flies. She rushed up to a boy with spiked dark blue hair, which I assumed was her brother Kitoka Minami. I myself followed after her, wanting to deliver a few stern words to this boy. "I suppose you would be Kitoka Minami?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"Yup! I sure am!" Kitoka grinned with a small wave. "Thanks for bringing my sister back to me. I was so scared for a while that I-"

"You're the older sibling, correct?!" I lost my temper with him. "In that case, I believe it's your job to look after your younger sister and not leave her to fend for herself overnight where a murder just so happened to be taking place!"

"M-Miss Kirigiri-!" Griffin tried to cut in, but a glare from me was all that was needed to keep him quiet.

"L-Look, I'm really sorry about that, okay...?!" Kitoka held his hands up defensively. "But we were here right up until the park closed that night! A-And I'd lost sight of Kotoko, but I wasn't given the chance to go back and look for her...!"

I was still frowning at the boy, shocked at the lack of responsibility he had for his younger sister, when a Canadian accented voice interrupted my train of thought.

"Well now, what's all this?"
