Your Father came into the living room with two letters in hand. You and your sister were sitting on the couch on your phones.
You were shoving popcorn down your throat as you watched your favorite youtubers on the screen.
Your dad coughed to get both of your attention. You grudgingly peeled your eyes away from your phone and sat up, trying to make it look like you were listening.
Your dad said nothing as he smiled and pulled his hands out from being his back. Your eyes went wide as you noticed the familiar stamp on the crisp envelope.
Your sister and you sprung up from the couch and grabbed your letters. You tore yours open excited to see the contents.
It was your final year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry and you were pumped.
The letter was just congratulating you on your final year and gave a list of school supplies. Shopping was the best part of back to school season, said no one ever. Your sister found it so fun but you could barely make it through a trip without wanting to avada kadvra yourself out of existence.
Your sister and you gave each other excited grins as you ran up to your bedrooms to pack. You saw no harm in packing two weeks early.
Your cat gave a meow from your pillow. You giggled and stroked his sleek black fur. "This year is going to be amazing. I know it."
That was debatable.
