We woke up to a faint sound of sirens, they weren't close they were far away. The first thought that came to my mind was that the police were coming for us because we went off city limits.
"Ashley , Ashley" , Jade whispered
"What?" Ashley answered hesitated
"I heard sirens in the distance we need to get moving now" assured Jade
"Do you think there you know, after us?" , Ashley said
"I don't know but we have to get moving, we just can't sit around because eventually they will come. If they catch us then we be held with charges then we will go to jail." , Bickered Jade.
"Then explain this to me, how are we going to get back once we get up to sea level? Be time we get back the police will be here waiting for us to get back. What are we going to do once we get up there? Explore a little then go home? Get caught then go to jail? We may as well go back to water town now, right?" Whined Ashley
"There is a way for us to get back into water town without getting caught. According to this book there is an elevator on sea level that leads to water town. The elevator that sends you to water town was meant as an emergency route when there were workers building things above sea level. Those workers aren't even alive today. Nobody knows about that elevator, they hid them well so nobody would know. Once we get up there we will explore things because,this why we are doing all of this.", assured Jade
"Okay fine lets pack up our stuff and get in the elevator." Said Ashley.
"Maybe we should just go back" Says Ashley
" We will be fine trust me, this time", promised Jade
Ashley pushed the elevator button and they nearly waited ten minutes for it to come down. Be time the elevator came down Jade wasn't so sure about going above sea level anymore.
"You coming?", hesitated Ashley
"Yeah", said Jade
"What's wrong?" , says Ashley
"Nothing I'm fine lets go otherwise the elevator is going to leave.", said Jade
"Tell me" , says Ashley
"Do you remember my phobia of elevators?" , cried Jade
"I thought you got over that a while ago", wonders Ashley
" I never did I lied to you because I didn't want you to think I was weird or something", said Jade
"I'm your best friend Jade I would never make fun of you or think you are weird.", aye Ashley.
"Okay, sorry" , says Jade
"It's fine, but we need to get going, ok?" , says Ashley
Ashley slowly pushes the elevator button to open it back up again. After the elevator opens Ashley and Jade walk in a push the button that says "Sea level." They slowly move joint held at or but can't se outside the elevator. The elevator is made of steel and would be almost impossible to get out of if they got stuck. Just in the look of Jades eyes I could tell she was really afraid of elevators. Five minutes later we are still in the elevator.
"Are we going to be there soon?", asks Jade
"The elevator took about ten minutes to come down so we have about another five minutes.", answers Ashely.
Three minutes later the elevator stopped out of no where. Out of no where Jade started to scream. Her worst fear had just came true, getting stuck in an elevator.
"Are we here or are we stuck?" , screams Jade
" ok promise no to freak out?", says Ashley
"Can't promise you" , says Jade
"I'm about one hundred percent sure we are stuck.", Ashley said
Suddenly Jade froze in shock because bong stuck in a elevator was her worst fear.
"What are we going to do now?" Says Ashley talking to herself.
"I know who to call.", says Jade
"Who are you going to call? Because even if you do call someone there not going to know how to get to us nearly how to get here?" Says Ashley
"I'm going to call my sister Emily. Over heard me planning it out and I made her promise not to tell mom and dad. I have to do all of her chores for a full year when see get back. She saw my entire plan and how to get here.", says Jade
"Okay maybe that is the best plan to go with right now.", says Ashley.
Jade takes her phone out of her pocket and calls Emily. It is twelve a clock in the afternoon she should pickup.
"Hello" , Emily said.
"Emily! Help! We are stuck in a elevator in Bethena. We were in it and it stopped and we need you to come and help us now!" ,says Jade
"Ok I'm on my way give me five minutes to pack up and I should we there in a half an hour. I have been covering for you at home. I told mom and dad that you are having a weekend sleepover at Ashley's.", says Emily
"Thanks. I hope they bought it. Ok see you in an hour." ,says Jade
"See you in an hour, bye"
An hour past and still no Emily.
"Should I try to call her again?" , asks Jade
"I think you should" , said Ashley
Jade once again began to call Emily again. She answered.
"Hello?" , Emily says
"Hello! Hello! ", she can't hear ,Jade said
Before Jade knew it her phone died.
"What do we do now Ashley?" , says Jade
"We can't do anything all we can do is wait.", says Ashley
They weren't back home but at the very worst no Emily.
Before they know it it is twelve a clock at night and they can't stay awake any longer. They both fall asleep in the shadows of the little holes in the steels elevator.
