I put on my black cotton coat before I stepped out into the snow with my Australian Shepherd, Filly. She wore her Christmas present which was blue bottles and a cute blue dog sweater. Filly wagged her tail as I opened the gate from our backyard. Mom isn't home but se will be in quite a while. The cold Utah breeze froze my nose and my fingers, leaving them red.
New Years was just about 3 weeks ago. It's 2016 now. I'm lucky cause my birthday is actually today. January 23rd, 2000 was when I was born. Yeah, I never knew my Dad. I've always wanted to know who he was though, I think it'd be amazing if I knew. My Mom has told me he makes music and is related to someone with great success but I don't who it can be.

I know what your thinking, "Why are you taking her on a walk then?" Well there's just one answer, she needs to be walked everyday, no matter what. That's only how she'll get better, and also antibiotics. You see? My Mom said that my family has a big background with animals. My Dad and my grandparents lived on a huge farm in Scottland. That's all she told me.
Just as I got home, I found my Mom crying on the couch, clutching onto a piece of paper written in cursive...
