"Hey, want to head back to the hotel?" Avi called over the music.

After a show in Ireland, the group had gone to a club to celebrate. After about an hour of dancing, Kevin and Kirstie were ready to head back to the hotel. Scott decided to go with them because he was getting tired too. Mitch and Avi decided to stay for awhile longer.

"Yeah, let's go!" Mitch replied.

Taking Mitch's hand (simply so he didn't lose him, or so Avi told himself), Avi led them through the crowd and out into the beautiful Dublin night. It was only about a half mile to their hotel, so they decided to walk.

After a pleasant stroll, they entered the hotel. They hadn't checked in yet, choosing to have the hotel hold their belongings until after the show when they would have more time.

"Hi," Avi said to the girl behind the counter, "Can we get our luggage and out room keys please? We're with Pentatonix."

The girl's smile dropped a bit. "Of course. But there was a small problem with your room assignments. There is actually only one more room open tonight. We will provide you with credit of course, but there isn't anything we can do right now. I'm terribly sorry."

"That's fine," Mitch said, "we don't mind sharing."

The girl smiled. "Thank you so much. Here's your key, it's the 6th floor on the right. Call if you need anything."

"Will do." Avi said, taking both of their bags and carrying them to the elevator.

"I can get that you know." Mitch says goodnaturedly.

Avi just grins at him and walks toward their room. Mitch unlocks it and they walk in. It is a small but beautifully furnished room. It has a cream colored sofa, mahogany dresser, and a large print of Van Gogh's "Starry Night" hanging above the bed-wait. The bed.

"Av, there's only one bed."

"That's okay," Avi said with a tired smile, "I can take the couch."

"No, you take the bed, I know your back has been hurting you."

"Would you be comfortable sharing the bed?"

"Yeah of course. I'm gonna shower, I'll be out soon."

Emerging from the bathroom, Mitch wore only a t-shirt and his boxers. He climbed in bed next to Avi, who was already half asleep.

"Goodnight, Avi."

"G'night, Mitchie."

Avi woke up slowly, enjoying the feeling of an arm wrapped around his waist. Wait, an arm?

He opened his eyes and saw Mitch facing him, breathing evenly. Smiling, Avi reached out and brushed a piece of hair out of Mitch's eyes. Mitch's eyes slowly opened. Avi froze with his hand on his face.

Mitch smiled. "Well, hi." He squeezed Avi's hip. Realizing what he was doing, Mitch began to pull his arm away.

Avi took in Mitch's bleary eyes, still full with sleep, and his slightly wavy bedhead, and before he knew it, he was kissing him. Mitch froze for a moment, shocked by Avi's forwardness. A moment later, he kissed back, gripping again at Avi's hip. Avi wrapped his fingers in the hair at the base of Mitch's neck.

Mitch slowly licked Avi's lower lip, wordlessly asking for him to open his mouth. Avi complied, gently sliding his tongue along Mitch's. After a few moments of exploration and gentle caresses, they pulled apart.

Their foreheads came together and they were both smiling.

"Well that was unexpected." Mitch said, laughing softly.

"Yeah, sorry about the lack of warning. I just really needed to do that."

"It's no problem. I want to keep doing that though, so we should probably practice." Mitch said, closing the gap between them again.
