Lynk Willow was a fairly small boy for his age. He was clearly shorter than all the other boys, and he was skinnier than even the young women. Yet, a free spirit he was. Although he went through constant ridiculing by the young boys, but it was either his father or them, and he would most certainly choose the latter.
Quite an intelligent boy, he was. Receiving the very best of grades from his teachers, he never failed to bring a smile to his mother's face, yet not his father's. For months and months, the frail boy strived to gain his father's attention, but he never could.
At the age of four, Lynk's mother had been mysteriously murdered in an alley in broad daylight. Throughout the city, people known as the "unnaturals" had begun to kill seemingly innocent people. Yet what Lynk hadn't known was that they were expelling the people they found "full of evil". But what they hadn't known, is that they certainly did kill an innocent woman.
Soon after this terror-filled event, his father became a bounty hunter for the men and women whose family members and spouses had been killed by these "vile" creatures. Driven with his own hatred, Ezekiel Willow demolished the whole group of them whom had been hiding out in the city. He soon gained money and a name for himself.
As this was happening, four year old Lynk Willow had come into contact with the blood of one of the creatures, and soon later began to gain part of his powers. The pain was excruciating to the young boy, and after months of torture, he had grown a set of jet black bat wings and devilish horns. His father noticed these features and immediately moved away from the city he'd come to know.
With a newly born hatred for his young son, he vowed that once the boy became fourteen, he would murder him. Yet, he could not bring himself to lay a hand on the boy before then. With his only weapon being verbal abuse, he brought himself to hurt the boy emotionally day by day, until the boy could stand it no longer.
Yet he never ran, he never fought back, he never did anything, and Ezekiel couldn't figure out why. Yet, the hatred still burned, the anger ran through his blood.
He would kill his son.
