The next two hours went past really quickly, I had spent them with Emily in maths and English (my top subjects) and was going to during lunch. Me and Emily walked into the lunch room and looked at the crowded tables buzzing. "I'm gonna go and get some food." I say to Emily turning to head for the lunch line.

"Yeah, no. I'm not letting you eat the crap at this school. Trust me one bite and you'll be floating off into the light."Emily said grabbing my arm. "Come on we can share my lunch."

I smile at her. "Thanks that means a lot to me." I say as I realize that we're still standing in the door way. "Where are we going to sit?" I ask she shrugs as we start to walk forward, looking for an empty table. Barely anyone noticed us walking past and those that did gave us looks of disgust. We were about to walk past Frankie's table when he noticed we were looking for a place to sit and waved us over with a smile. I smile back before tugging on Emily's arm.

She looked at me. "What?" She asked.

"Frankie just waved us over." Is say. She nods and smiles for a moment before we walk over to his table. "Hey Frankie. This is Emily." I say pointing to my new friend, she smiles and nods in his direction, which he returns. "Are these seats taken?" I asked standing next to the table.

He grabbed my arm and tugged me onto the bench, I grabbed Emily's arm and dragged her down with me. "Yes they are." He said. Me and Emily roll our eyes at him in unison. "Kasper, Emily this is Gerard and Mikey." I look across the table and see to boys. One with longish black hair and a leather jacket, and a slightly shorter boy with glasses. "Gerard, Mikey this is Kasper and Emily." Gerard looks up for only a moment and smiles at us, with hazel eyes. I feel like I've seen those eyes before.

Mikey smiles and says "Hey Emily, hey Kasper. And thank you Kasper because I told you ghosts exist." He says punching Gerard in the shoulder.

"Bullshit they do. She doesn't count." Gerard says. Wow that voice. I could drown in that voice.

"And why not?" Mikey asks.

"I'd like to see you stick your hand through her." He responds. Mikey looks at me with eyes full of hope. He leans across the table and sticks out his arm. He's kidding right?

"If you want to keep that hand, I wouldn't try." I say giving him a menacing scowl. He quickly takes his hand back and try's to hide behind Gerard putting on an innocent puppy dog look. All of us except Mikey burst out laughing. We talk for the rest of lunch getting to know each other. Apparently Mikey and Gerard are brothers. But Gerard spent most of the lunch with his head down drawing in a sketch book, so I didn't get to learn too much about him. Frankie and Emily really seem to be hitting it off. They're flirting like crazy and I don't even think they know it.

The bell rings and we all stand up to go to our classes. I don't see Emily again till the last hour for bio which we have with Frankie and Gerard (we don't have any classes with Mikey because he's a year younger). I actually have a lot of classes with the boys. We had P.E together but I didn't see Gerard. I have art next with them but Emily's gotta hall ass to science.

We walk into the maths classroom together, but when the boys go to sit down I go to see the teacher. She gives me my books and says "There are all your books you may take the empty seat between Mr. Iero and Mr. Way." I give her a puzzled look. She sighs "Frankie and Gerard. I thought you would of at least known their last names considering that you walked in with them." I blush slightly at my own stupidity and walk to the back row of the class taking the second last seat on the right, which is in between Gerard and Frankie.

I set all my books on the desk. "Okay class, settle down. Everyone take out your charcoal pencils and sketch books." I stare down at the three different colored sketch book blankly. Which one is for charcoal sketching?

"The blue ones for charcoal, the Reds for pencil and the greens for pen work." Frankie whispers to me. I smile and nod, and pack away the extra sketch books. I take out my charcoal pencils and listen to the instructions.

"Today you will be drawing one of your friends. Draw it anyway you want to, as long as it's drawn with charcoal and handed in by the end of the hour." The teacher says before sitting down at her desk and opening the latest edition of people's magazine. I think of who I'm going to draw. I think of Emily, she would be easy to draw. I mean I've spent the whole day with her so I know what she looks like and I'm sure she wouldn't mind.

I start to draw Emily's face, then her hair and then the rest. I was drawing her left leg when Frankie smiled and said "Wow, your really good! I didn't know you could draw!" I look at the picture and smile at my new friend. I never really thought of myself as a good artist but it's still nice to hear a compliment from some one who might actually mean it. "Gerard look at this drawing of Emily. Kasper can really draw. She's almost as good as you." Frankie says.

"Thanks Frankie," I say as I look at Gerard's picture of Frankie and no way am I even close to Gerard in the art department. "But I think you're over exaggerating a little too much."

"No, he's right your really good." Gerard says. That caught me off guard, I blush a little but can't figure out why. I look back down at my drawing, my face hidden behind a curtain of hair on the sides.

"I'm no where near as good as you Gerard. Your amazing!" I say and I mean it.

"Fine don't believe us!" Frankie says.

"Even if we're telling the truth." Gerard finishes.

I continue drawing her leg and feet. Done, at that moment the bell rings. Wow talk about lucky. I pack up and hand in my sketch before walking out with Gerard and Frankie.

The rest of the day went by pretty fast. Emily, Gerard, Frankie and I spent the rest of the day together (when we were in the same classes any way) talking through every lecture and laughing. By the time the last bell rang we had all become best friends. Me and Emily felt bad that we couldn't hang out more with Frankie during class so when ever we were out side of class we would talk to him any chance we could.

We were all walking home together because all our paths met up for the last block on the walk to school. About ten minutes into the walk, (we were walking really, really slowly) we reached a fork in the road. Emily and Frankie went left and Mikey, Gerard and I went right.

"So where's your stop?" Gerard asked looking down at me.

"Um," I try to remember the new address. "I'm number eight two down on sixth." I say.

Mikey instantly smiles. "Yay!!!" He exclaims.

I give Gerard a look of confusion. "We're on sixth too. Eighty six." He says.

Wow really? I swear this is the most luck I've had in one day since... Ever! Mikey and Gerard walk me to my door. "Bye guys." I say waving to them as they walk off.

"Bye!" They say in unison waving back at me. Once they walk a little farther I turn and walk up the four steps onto my porch. I stand in front of the door staring at it. I've had such a good day, the first one in forever. Maybe I'll get lucky and my dad will be at the bar. I take a deep breath and reach for the copper door knob.
