Chapter 3

Kath's POV

DJ finished answering all his equations for his test, I packed all my books and paper, since it was time for me to go.

I needed to pack and get ready for the Scholarship.

"DJ! Uwi na ako!" I told him.

"Hatid na kita Kath!" Very unusual. He doesn't know how to drive.

"Ha?" I asked since I was very sure that he doesn't know how to drive.

"I mean samahan na kita pauwi." Well that's sweet. Our houses are just near, that's why.

"Hindi na DJ. Hahanapin ka ng nanay mo. Baka nakauwi na siya at wala ka pa." I told him.

"True. Pero okay lang yan."

"Hindi na DJ." I didn't want his mom to worry just because of me.

"Bahala ka. Basta mag-ingat ka ha!" I really love how DJ is always so caring.

"Oo naman!"

"Sorry ulit." He looked at the floor.

"Sorry? Para saan?" Getting confused.

"Kanina." Still looking at the floor.

"Sus! DJ wala yun! Okay lang yun." I don't want to see him sad, but he was really acting so weird earlier.

"Basta ikaw hindi ka talaga nagagalit!" He said in relief, since I didn't really mind on what had happened.

"Basta wag mong kalimutan at galingan mo sa tests mo ah! Kung hindi, diyan na ako magagalit!" I told him.

"Yes ma'am!" Sometimes he calls me ma'am since I'm his tutor and sometimes I tell him on what to do in almost everything.

We exchanged our goodbyes and I closed the door and went straight home.

DJ's POV

I really don't know on what happened to me earlier. Bigla lang ako sumungit.

Okay, so I'm jealous. I know wala akong karapatan mainggit kasi hindi naman kami.

But puro Quen nalang eh.

I'm get jelous easily and I hate how words can just go out of my mouth and sometimes it can cause myself to be 'masungit'.

Ano bayan, DJ! Si Kath yan! Bakit ko siya sinungitan?

Ayan tuloy. Pero kasi si Kath hindi madaling magalit.

So like nothing had happened earlier for her.

Tapos may pahabol si Kath.

She texted.

DJ! Galingan mo sa test mo! Goodnight! :)

Nag-reply ako kaagad, of course. It's just my habit to reply on time. But not when I'm asleep, obviously.

To: Kath

Oo naman! Thank you sa pagturo :)

Something was vibrating. And I realized that it was already morning. Wow I didn't even remember sleeping. I just remembered Kath's last text to me and then I replied that's it!

Kath was the one who's calling so I answered it quickly.

"H-hello, Kath?" I answered with a cracky voice since I just woke up.

"DJ!! Nagising ba kita? Sorry ah. Aalis na kasi kami mamayang 8 kaya wala ako mamaya sa class ah baka kasi hanapin mo ako. Paalis na kasi kami papuntang airport kaya maaga kitang tinawagan."
