“Oh good afternoon everyone. Is there any way I can help you?” Fae said in a very formal matter. I glanced at the others and noticed that by the way they looked, it was perfectly normal.
“Fae, they brought Ella, the unicorn card holder with them.” Aleeb explained as quickly as possible. “I see. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Fae held out her hand to me. I took it and nodded. “Same.” After a short and sweet introduction we started talking more about our situation.
“So your card is telling you to gather us all up, yet you have no idea why?” Aleeb asked with his penetrating stare. I gulped, it was true after all, that I didn’t know why I was doing this. I nodded a yes slowly.

Now you have found them all
And now you have no time to stall
A great darkness is coming
In the form of a an ancient being
Practice the form of battle
Let the plants grow
When it’s time to show
Cadmus, Wizard of Myths
“Your card sure tells you a lot. My card doesn’t say anything.” Portia commented. The others all nodded in agreement. I didn’t answer them, I was too busy trying to understand what the card meant. I knew we needed to practice battling and the last part meant I would need to use my ‘powers’, but what did the rest mean?
“Alright! It’s battle time!” Adil shouted. “I guess I’ll get the practice area ready then.” Fae sighed and walked out of the room, Aleeb followed her out. Leaving me to wonder how you even battled with a card. I guess I’ll find out…
