Chapter 2 - A Lot of Explaining To Do

Chapter 2 - A Lot of Explaining To Do  

I arrived at school at 8:30 which is the normal time but today it just seemed like the ride took forever, whether that's because I have yet to see any of my friends or because I'm nervous about the first day, I don't know.  

When I finally reached the school I met my friends at our usual hangout, and as you can probably guess our first meeting wasn't as pleasant as I would have liked. It pretty much consisted of them asking constantly where I was all summer and me saying that I'll tell them later, and because they are my friends every 5 seconds classed as later! Finally I told them that I would tell them the story when we got inside, thankfully that excuse seemed to satisfy their needs to hound me for answers, thank god! 

In my group there is me, of course, my two best friends; Alex Fields and Lizzie Johnson.  

Lizzie is your typical pretty girl, ad believe me when I say she can control they guys with just a flip of her hair! She has long blond hair that curls to just past her shoulders, she has the best blue eyes that seem to change colour depending on what mood she's in, it's quite creepy actually but it suits her well! She's also really tall which is quite intimidating, especially when you're small like me. It sucks to get in a stare down with her!  

Alex, what's there to say about Alex? Well all I can really think of is that he is perfect, with his perfect short black hair, and his perfect honey gold eyes, I could stare into those eyes all day long, ahhh...he really does have nice eyes, it's just too bad they're hidden by glasses but if I do say so myself they only make him look that much hotter. Again like Lizzie, Alex is very tall, but he also has some well defined muscles that he tries to hide, but when you're as close as we are, believe me when I say I've seen them! In case you haven't noticed I have the hugest crush on Alex, I know it's wrong considering how close we are but, when you get to know him you can't help but fall for him. 

The other people in my group are 'the twins', no that's not just a nickname they really are twins. Matt and Georgia Bynes, well they are the funniest people you will ever meet! First there's Georgia, she's a beautiful redhead, and I mean red-red not what people call red when it's really orange! Surprisingly it actually suits her, she also has brown eyes. The thing I love the most about Georgia is that she's small like me so I always feel better when we're in our group. Even though she's quite small compared to her brother, Georgia is actually three minutes older than Matt, and believe me he HATES that fact! Haha!  

Matt on the other hand, is quite tall, and has black curly hair, it's kind of like an afro except it doesn't go up it's just kind of there! Like Alex he too wears glasses, and his eyes are brown just like Georgia, I think they once said they get their eyes off their mum? I don't know. Although he is tall he lacks in the muscle department, so we all take the mickey out of him, in a friendly-way of course!  

In our group we are all really smart but we have the two 'nerds'; Alex and Matt, we also have the two 'eccentric ones'; Lizzie and Georgia, and then there's me; the 'eccentric nerd' well that's my label anyway, not that I mind! I guess you could say I'm the glue that holds together out friendship because I can always argue a point for both sides without prejudice, as I always know where both are coming from. Believe me when I tell you in our group that tends to come in handy.
