So the other day I remembered all these scary little stories my mom made me watch from some Korean show and thought I should post whatever scary stories I've heard over my short period time of my life. Turn off the lights and enjoy.

Only the footsteps and the occasional howling of the wolves were the traveler’s only company as he trudged on through the woods at night. Darkness swept through, giving the night an eerie feeling and the moon casted overhead telling him it was midnight.

Soft patter of rain began to beat down and the traveler cursed at his misfortune. As the traveler sped up his pace he met with stroke of luck, finding a cabin. He knocked politely, never losing the gentlemen-like manners that he obtained while growing up.

Five minutes of polite knocking, the traveler had grown weary and finally turned the knob and found it open. He called out, asking permission if he was allowed to spend the night only to find it abandoned. He shrugged at his luck with a mere smile and found a nice comfortable bed where he placed his belongings he had carried on his back.

Feeling the wet shirt clinging onto his skin, he stripped himself naked and refreshed himself with new clothing. While doing so, he found himself overwhelmed by the day’s events and felt sleep slowly crawling into his body.

Stifling a yawn he climbed on the bed and observed the room for the first time. Hanging on the walls were several portraits of people who he thought were past owners of the cabin. The only thing he found odd was how they were all staring at the bed with blood trickling down their faces, making the traveler shiver.

Finding it odd and rather quite scary, the traveler took comfort in the bed sheets by covering them over his head and fell asleep by the soft patter sound of the rain outside.

As the traveler woke up the next morning, he sits up in bed from a good night’s rest and looks around the abandoned cabin, only to find that the portraits he saw last night were actually windows.
