Chapter IX: The Face-Sucking Ordeal

*Seto POV*

I had originally planned to ask Brice to become my boyfriend, but I truly didn't know if he liked me. Maybe instead I'd just ask him something else.

"Um, how'd you get the idea to create the regeneration potion?"
"Well, I kinda just did what I did to control my emotions. I just knew what to put in, and what to not,"

So it was confirmed, he was actually an alchemist. That is interesting to handle. I knew what I had to do now.

"Brice, I was wondering, d-do you like me?"

*Brice POV*

"Brice, I was wondering, d-do you like me?"

Was it true? Was he asking if I liked him? My first reaction was to jump for joy, but then I analysed what he said.

"As a friend? Of course I like y-you,"

Seto was staring at me strangely, as if he knew what I was thinking; as if he knew that I actually did like him.

"Brice, I think we both know what I meant,"

I took a deep breath. I didn't exactly want to do this so fast. I didn't want to say that I had a crush on him but the look that Seto was giving me kinda told me that I had to.

"Yes, I have a crush on you. I love the way that you're tongue sticks out of your mouth when you're concentrating. The look that comes over your face when someone challenges you. I love the way your head tilts to the left when you ask a question and I love the way you're so confident,"

I had done it. I had told Seto how I felt, no matter how much it hurt. Slightly worried about the look that Seto was giving me, I asked him if he was okay.

*Seto POV*

"Um, Seto, are you okay?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine. I just wanted to tell you that I feel the same. Ever since I saw you making that potion, I fell in love with you,"

It felt so good to finally tell him, it would be a lot easier now that things are going to plan.

Brice looked a little stunned as I think that he didn't believe that I'd 'share' the feelings. I think that I'd need to prove it to him.

I leant in to Brice, with the intention of kissing him. Seto POV*

I leant forward once again, and this time, our lips met. Books make it seem a lot more romantic, this weird face-sucking ordeal. I really wasn't used to it.

"S-Seto?"

The sound of Bride's voice pulled me out of the trance that I found myself in.

"Yes?"
"Would you like to be my boyfriend?" Brice asked with a blush dancing across his cheeks. I had never really noticed it before but it starts from his ears and ends of the nape of his neck.

"I would love to be your boyfriend,"

With that, I brought him into another kiss, wondering what to do over the next few days.
