"... I vote Ben gets it!" I said. I watched my friend stroll into the coffee shop.
"Haha, he is so easy to convince" she laughed.
"Haha yeah" I leaned up against the chilled, brick wall. The silence crept in.
Then, all of a sudden, Gillian smiled. It's wasn't just a genuine, happy smile, it was a 'lets do something stupid just to freak someone out' smile.
"Come," she grabbed my arm as she dragged me through the alleyways.
"What are we doing, G?" I was tripping as we ran in the darkness.
"Hiding from Ben" she stated simply. "I can tell that the guy who wrote that note isn't gonna come anytime soon, so lets have some fun with it."
"I don't know if this is such a good idea..." I was a little skeptical about all of this.
"Oh come on, it'll be fun!" She continued running. We got to a dead end and sat down, exhausted.
I heard the sound of Gillian's body laying down on the ground, hmm... She must be tired.
Then, I realized what happened as a cloth was wrapped around my mouth, forcing me to breathe in the chloroform.
My mind screamed, "no!" As my world turned black.

---Bens POV ---
Where could they have gone? I started panicking. I set down the coffee an took my phone out of my pocket. I dialed Joanna's number... "Hey this is Joanna, call me back later. Bye."
I heard her familiar voice recording. Her phone was off. Next, I tried Gillian's phone. "Its Gillian, I can't come to the phone right now so call me back later, k? Cya!" Her phone was off too.
What the heck? What am I supposed to do? I took my phone out again and dialed my house phone. "Hello?"my mom answered.
"Mom? Okay so as I told you, I was at Starbucks with Joanna and G an I went to go get us all coffee and when I came back they had just disappeared. Their phones are turned off and I dont know what to do. I don't even have a ride home because Joanna drove us here!"
She sighed, "do you want me to pick you up?"
"Sure, but what if they really are in trouble?"
"What makes you think that?"
"Joanna got a note from an anonymous person telling her to meet us there..." I confessed.
"Oh, boy. Ill be right there."

By the time that my mother got there I had drank everyone's coffee. As she pulled into the parking lot I stood up.
I got in the car and saw my mom on the phone. "Yes I am here now, he's in the car. Okay thank you so much."
"Who was that?" I asked as I buckled my seatbelt.
"The police."
